This is not a good place to be.there's no point to go to trial. Basically you just have to go there and accept a resolution to a lesser charge which the crown will usually offer you in exchange for a guilty plea. Either that or hope the officer doesn't show up.you can always hire a paralegal to take on your matter but that's going to cost you a couple of a hundred bucks depending on the charge and they're still no real guarantee you'll have the charge withdrawn or resolved and tIt may still result into some sort of conviction which in all honesty you can do yourself with no legal experience whatsoever.the law says you're innocent until proven guilty however when it comes to provincial offences or any other offense for that matter you need to understand that the crown has unlimited time and resources to prosecute you and for the average citizen who doesn't have the same luxury the odds are overwhelmingly stacked up against you and will more than likely result into a conviction.
