Bâton Rouge Grillhouse & Bar
Took over an hour for us to get the waitress back to ask where our food was. We offered to leave, they said they were just starting our order. The flank steak was good, at least the edges that were cooked. They understood we were very irritated by then and made it right. We stayed right next door for 4 days and would have eaten there at least once more had the first visit gone well.

Honestly a very lovely place to dine.Beautiful atmosphere. Good food and kind service. My family really enjoys coming here and we always have a lovely time.This time none of what we ordered was available so we went with different choices, however all was lovely.We were way too full and very happy for our night out that followed. The potato soup was a delicious entree, and the gnocchi was really nice too with a very fresh sauce.

I've been to Baton Rouge a couple times with my boyfriend, and we genuinely like the food. Only little issue was that they messed up my boyfriend's meal and the waitress serving us would go from nice to rude in seconds. I would still go back however as the food is still quite delicious. Decor and ambience is really cozy, very good spot for a date or get together with family!

WAY TOO expensive for the quality of the food. Seafood was over cooked, eating the scallops felt like eating rubber, same for the burger meat… The fries look like they were re-heated, and the chicken fillets had more flour than chicken… Also there was too much sauce for the amount of pasta, the sauce was also way too salty and looked like it came out of a jar. Service was okay, really basic and nothing special. Overall the food was NOT good and not of the expected quality of the food chain. It seems like they care more about profit than quality, which is very much shameful. Avoid this restaurant and go somewhere else, even McDondals has tastier burgers.

Not too expensive yet still classy with good food and good service. Nice selection of drinks, grilled platters, fish and the occasional vegetarian selection.Our waiter was fantastic, food was served on time and to our preferences.

Started with shared calamari....very good... followed by chicken and ribs for her....Lobster and ribs for me.The chicken and ribs were reported to very good. The ribs were good....the lobster was overly salted for my taste. But then again I use little to no salt.A very pleasant evening meal indeed.

Such a lovely place inside which drove us in (after a 45 minute ride from the states). We just wanted to try something new so went over based off from pictures and reviews. Sadly our experience was less pleasing than others have said to have had! The food was very, very average (chain restaurant level for sure .. and included me picking off the literal charred slice of cheese that came on my burger) with a bill of $119 for 2 meals, 2 beers, and 1 appetizer. Always willing to pay for good food but this just was not that. Farther more, we might have left a little more satisfied if the service was awesome but unfortunately this severely lacked as well! Our server was very nice, but appeared over worked leading us to an almost 2 hour late lunch/early dinner meal, which ended in me just walking up and paying at the bar so we could finally head out. Kudos to the kind attitude of the server and to the very modern atmosphere of the restaurant but we will definitely not be back considering all the other good eateries in the area!
