The Beauty House Sidney

Went to Victoria for visit and a friend of mine recommended this place to me saying it’s the best for nails and lashes. I had my nails done and it wasn’t the design that I wanted and they burned my nails and seems that the UV light that they’ve been using was way too hot. And my lashes was uneven.

Brette is a shining star! She's always meticulous and knowledgeable about her craft, and does it with a warm heart. There aren't many people I'd trust with my brows since I'm losing them due to a thyroid disorder. Not only were her Micro-blading skills amazing, but she made me feel at ease during the whole process. They look so good some days I don't even put makeup on them. She's my girl!!

Went here as this place had 5 stars and reviews were great. I like looking and testing out good nail places. A little confused and finding it a little sketch how this place only has 35 reviews, but claims to be opened for a long time.. and needs to be booked 1 month in advance. Shouldn't there be more reviews and more variety instead of all 5 stars? I don't want to attack anyone. The staff are very kind, but if i'm being honest and going by service and going by what I paid for- it wasn't worth it. My nails were poorly done. Haven't had anything like this before! 2 days and my nail already peeled. Cannot be fixed as I live out of town. Lady who was doing my nail was rushing and the details of my nails are very questionable. you can clearly see my nailbed/nail with the french tip.. coat was very light and can see patches through, not fully painted, french trip wasn't round.. she really did one swipe of paint. Woman was working quick as she had another client waiting... I would have given one stars but want to give the benefit of the doubt and will give this place another shot (only because they were kind and could be a hiccup) when I visit victoria again in a few months. I will update the post.. but I know for sure for $75, this kind of art of a french tip was not worth it..i also asked for an almond shape and was definitely not it - it was round.

I’ve been going here for my lashes for almost 2 years now getting to have the best lash tech Kayleigh! Everyone there is insanely kind and wonderful to be around. Such a great place filled with very talented hard working people. Love this place with my whole heart.

I just got a gel polish manicure from Nici. She was wonderful no complaints she did a beautiful job. The owner is also lovely and the space is modern chic a very welcoming environment. Everyone was so sweet and nice felt like just a bunch of friends hanging out having some good laughs. The space is decorated nicely and very clean I have zero complaints and will be returning and highly recommending anyone who wants to get their nails done to this place.

10 out of 10. I needed to get in quickly when my appointment fell through in Vancouver for my wedding and the owner Brette fit in me for a trial and my wedding nails. She went above and beyond to make sure they where perfect for my special day. I also got in to see Charlotte for a pedicure before my honeymoon! The whole team is down to earth and very talented. xx

The Beauty House is the place to be! Absolutely love my nails done by Nici (who I would highly recommend). She is super friendly and does a great job. Such a lovely and fun environment as well. Will definitely be returning!
