Looks and feels the same as any school. Overall nothing special about teachers and students. There's always going to be the good, the bad, and the unfair injustices. You'll do fine if you try (maybe). Here's a picture of the west entrance...

Two people have been seriously injured following a stabbing that took place at a Toronto school Tuesday afternoon.Police say they were called to Victoria Park Collegiate, located near Parkwoods Village Drive and Victoria Park Avenue in North York, around 3 p.m. after receiving reports there was a fight on school grounds.Very little information has been released thus far, but police say that two male victims were located. One victim was found unconscious is in life-threatening condition, paramedics say, while the other sustained serious injuries.The victims, whose ages have not been confirmed, have been rushed to the hospital.Police also said that one male suspect is in custody.We don't believe there are any people outstanding wanted for this

Worst school ever, when I walked into this school I was disrespected; but also greeted with disgust. When I asked for directions to the office people were rude.

I gave 5 star because I had good years back in 2007. Good people, good teachers, good environment, we go far away and hide to smoke a cigarette. We all had bicycles and we where set to adventures. Made alote of friends live that school. Feel bad for the new generation they missed out

I’m a parent and my kid goes to this school, honestly if your kids knows how to mind their own business and don’t get into trouble this school is good. It all falls down on the students, every student is different. I guess those who gets into trouble are already in trouble to begin with. They need to own up to their action. Make your kids focus in school and they will succeed in life.

Something really needs to be done at Victoria Park Collegiate Institute.- Twice I almost slipped because there is garbage/trash in the Hallways.- There is no toilet paper in bathrooms or empty soaps for handwashing. - -- Students give dirty or look at you weird before you even go up to say Hi". There is bad language around- Students still smoke in bathrooms even after having the welcome assembly during the beginning of the school year about smoking/vaping on school grounds. There sit in the bathroom in the art hallway during drugs or the main bathroom in the front foyer."

To summarize:- there’s at least one fatal shooting/stabbing at the school each year- the IB program has more dropouts than graduates in any given cohort- most teachers are subpar- it’s so broke that the school is begging us to pay a registration fee for clubs- the guidance workers I’ve met are the opposite of friendly and welcoming- the hallways and bathrooms reek with the odour of weed- the washrooms are always trashed and get locked as a result- the building is old, dirty, and there’s litter everywhere- many students (particularly non-IB) consistently disrupt classes or just don’t show up at all- many clubs have very low participation and are majority IB studentsThere are a couple redeeming factors, but it’s nothing you couldn’t find at a better school.

This school is disappointing, when I walked in people were staring at me, giving me weird looks, and making me uncomfortable. So I just avoided talking to most of the people here. When I tried asking for some help they genuinely didn’t want to help at all. The environment of the school is atrocious, this isn't what I expected from this school.

If I had high school kids and need to choose a school for them, one look at the grounds and I would decide against the school. Looks like the school has adopted Litter all you can" and does not care how dirty the surroundings looks like. It reflects badly on the school
