I had an excellent experience when visiting Selim's Antiques the last weekend in November 2019. I met both Dan Aysan and his father Sal and they treated me like we had known each other for years. They gave me a good price for the items I had to sell (several items of jewelry), some honest advice on what items to keep (and why) and a great piece of advice on where to get my valuable wrist watch repaired. The store is quite amazing with thousands of items on display but in a very organized manner making it easy to browse. I would highly recommend a visit. Thanks again Dan and Sal!

My cousin and I travelled from Regina to visit Selim’s. Dan made us feel like family and helped us pick out very well cared for and unique pieces. It was also super helpful that Dan was able to identify some historical markers for my most recent purchase from this shop. Give yourself time in this store - there are many treasures!

Dan and his dad are knowledgeable and super helpful. They have a beautiful store, with many treasures. If you need or want jewellery for any event either costume or real, you need to visit! We have purchased necklaces and charms for baptisms, communion, graduations and birthdays.

The best local, family owned business there is! Selim’s Antiques has been a Winnipeg gem for as long as I can remember. The owner is knowledgeable and kind. A welcoming store with items you didn’t even know you needed. I would highly recommend for the truly educated “antiquer” or anyone just wanting to find something unique. More inventory than you even knew possible from the storefront. A definite recommendation from me!

I had a great experience at Selim's Antiques exploring through the teacups and finding treasure. I bought a set of gorgeous champagne glasses that were in great condition, and had a nice chat with the owner who packed them up nicely for me.

This is a unique store with an impressive selection of antiques (not filled with more recent collectibles, like many). It has very old statues and carvings, artwork, fine china and especially, gorgeous jewelry. We'll think of the nice man who sold it to us when we use the oil lamp we bought
