Park Road Dental Centre

I was walking down the street to visit an old friend who moved her hair salon, and on my way I passed by the office.It was 2 years since I've seen a dentist. Both my hygienist and dentist retired, and I didn't like anyone else in that office... and I let my dental visits lapse.I was walking by and saw the office, and paused and decided that I needed a new dentist. I am picky, so I wanted to have a look at the office and maybe meet a hygienist and a dentist for a minute. I thought to myself that if I didn't like it then I would check another place.I discussed the billing and insurance options with the MOA... there was a bit of a communication issue at first, but then we were both on the right track.It is a new office so I can understand that they wanted to book me for an appointment.I made one for the following week for a cleaning and dental visit.While I was talking with the MOA, the dentist came out, and we exchanged a few words.I came for my appointment. Currently it is the dentist who does cleaning and dental work, as well as all the other stuff that I don't need (luckily). She has an assistant helping her.-- Somewhat of a different practice than I was used to. The dentist had a lot of new equipment that I never saw at my previous existing dentist's office.she checked my teeth. She said things looked good, but I had a small cavity on the outside of one tooth. I asked for x-rays because of the stretch since my last dentist visit and a bit of neglect that my teeth endured.X-rays showed a few more small cavities. A bit unexpected, but I wasn't overly surprised. Dentist and assistant did an amazing cleaning. And the dentist did two small cavities and suggested I book for another appointment to take care of the rest.At first I thought... hmmm... is this a money grab? But no, I saw the x-rays. I did go a second time, and the fillings were done very well.All staff are very friendly.I'm not big on basing my opinion based on reviews for doctors and dentists... some things are personal perspective. I did look up some reviews after my first appointment. While I had a very positive experience, the reviews were not so good. I thought they might be directed to a different dentist.So bottom line. My experience was excellent, and I think I now have my new dentist. I would not be surprised that as this office grows that a hygienist will be doing the cleaning, with a quick dental checkup.I'm very happy to get one more thing crossed off my TODO list.Bottom line is I would recommend this dental office, dentist and staff.

Dr. Zhang is the best dentist I have had, and I went through many different dentists! She is caring, patient and knowledgeable. I highly recommend her for everyone.

I am very pleased to find such nice and kind dentist. She has excellent skills to clean and protect my teeth. She also work very careful. Everytime after my visit, she also gives me instructions on how to protect my teeth. Therefore, I transfer all of my family members to her clinic. Thank you very much. Dr. Zhang! You are the best.

Its my first visit today, the dentist and staff were incredibly patient and friendly, and took their time to discuss with me the condition of my teeth. Would recommend.
