Leslieville Laundry Room

Working in hospitality I think that online reviews are petty in principal but this one MUST be written. I have lived a few blocks away for over 3 years and have always used this laundry mat as my apartment, like many others in the neighbourhood, does not provide access to laundry machines. For the first two years it was an affordable, time saving, and convenient option. I believe that a year ago the establishment changed owners and it has hit an absolute rock bottom since then. Today was the last straw, as I rushed in with one load to do before work this evening and there was no working machine available. I spilled something on my uniform and thought that I could easily fit a load in. There was ONE other woman doing her laundry and explained that she had been waiting ALL DAY for machines. The rest of the machines were out of order. This has been happening for months now. Almost all of the machines are broken, and the ones that work are prehistoric and are either dirty or unafficient. I have walked away with lint covered or wet clothing multiple times. They prioritize their drop off service and use up all of the working machines for their own benefit. Machines always give off a mildewy smell, and I have located mold in many because they do not properly wipe out or clean machines. Not going to spend a penny more at this establishment until they take their business seriously or sell. The attendants that work during the day are always rude and micro-manage how you do your laundry. Simply put, I implore you not to waste your time or cash at this location. It is unfortunate as now I will have to travel farther and out of my way, but I have no other choice.

Very nice laundromat.Machines seem very new and modern, my clothes have come out as nice as any other machine, and have decent temp and cycle options (4 temp, 3 types). Dryers are super quick on anything but low.Costs about 7$ for one load (normal wash, no extra rinse) and 30 mins in the dryer (all settings same price). Which aint bad, I suppose.Have used the wash and fold service when a place I worked for used it and our stuff came back great.Only gripe I have is the change machine hasnt really worked the last few visits. Takes toonies just fine, but wont accept bills of any kind (example image has the old paper money portraits so might just be old) but othet than that not one issue to be had.

We're so grateful to have found Leslieville Laundry Room! Online booking is fast and simple for pick up/drop off wash and fold services. They come when they say they will and complete the service in the requested time window. They just make it SO easy! Thank you!

Friendly staff, very helpful. You can do your own or drop-off for them to wash, dry and fold by the lb. Very clean.

I like this laundromat (the price is fair and it’s clean) but prefer to use it when the older white woman is *not* there, or when the attendants have gone home. Seriously, I’m there to do laundry, not help people with their crossword puzzles or be followed around with a broom when I haven’t tracked anything in. She’s also removed my stuff from machines when it was sitting for under 10 minutes and criticized me when I’ve used a machine that *she* had been drying clothes in, because I didn’t check to make sure all *her* clothes had been removed. Surely that is not my responsibility (as a random customer) when they’re offering a laundry service.It’s not just me; I’ve been there when other customers complained to the other attendant (an Asian woman, who I’ve had no issues with) about the other woman.

Clean and reasonably priced laundromat. The best part is the service - incredibly helpful and patient as it was my first time there as I needed to get my sleeping bags washed. I’ll come back here for sure.

A laundromat without an option to purchase soap is unheard of. The only reason I gave it two stars is the last inside was very nice but I wouldn't recommend this to anyone in town briefly who does not have a need for a jug of laundry detergent (which she recommended I buy from the shop next door).

Could not recommend enough!!!!! After a long bout of bad health and little energy, I had MONTHS of laundry to catch up on and my apartment's shared machines were worse-for-wear. It was giving me major stress to even try to think about the number of treks I'd have to make, the gross leftover sludge in those shared machines, or the jars of quarters I'd need to feed into my apartment's jam-prone coin slots. After many months of procrastinating, I made the decision to seek a service after members in a neurodivergent cleaning group spoke highly of it.Leslieville Laundry Room makes it super easy to book for their wash-and-fold services with their online booking system, which is available day and night and at 1 am when you're unable to sleep LMAO. Great pricing and prompt pick-up + delivery, with the driver giving a heads up when he would arrive. Afterwards, an invoice was sent so I could pay via credit or Paypal. The laundry I received had me incredibly surprised with how considerately it was done; like items were folded together so all I needed to do was file chunks away and things were folded with attention to creases.If you're hesitant to bite the bullet on paying for this, do it! Your brain will thank you. The only thing I would note is that customers should check their emails, as they may receive message notifications in their inbox about their order.

I don't go to this laundromat but I'm regular customer of their wash-and-fold delivery service. I'm obsessed with it. Online booking is super easy, I get to choose a 1hr time slot for pickup/delivery which is very convenient, and they have ALWAYS showed up during the time slot I chose. My clothes come back clean, smelling amazing and perfectly folded - no ironing needed. Never even a sock missing. Awesome.

I’ve used many other laundry services before, so I have points for comparison. LL are affordable, they pick up and drop off, they do a wonderful job and the timeframes are great. I’m hesitant to give a glowing review to keep this gem to myself :-) Just kidding, I want to see this great small local business do well!
