Kristyn is so kind and yet extremely talented, her passion for learning and bettering herself is endless. Her work has also been featured on Aveda Canada! I have hair past my waist and 100% trust her with caring for it! Wish there was a salon like this in Toronto, fantastic product line too - everything is so clean and green! Highly recommended.

I only have good things to say about Altr Hair Studio and Kristyn! Kristyn really takes the time to make sure that I’m happy with my hair. I get my hair coloured platinum blonde and the results are always amazing. The razor cuts are awesome too, adds a lot of texture and volume to my hair. As a trans person, I can honestly say that this is safer space. Highly recommend! :)

Kristyn practices alchemy amid lush tropical plants, surrounded by organic decor with enjoyable music playing. She is an award winning stylist with her knowledge of hair and use of precision instruments, specifically the razor. Her business model includes the use of eco-friendly products, sustainability, non-gender pricing, and my personal favourite; the option of silent service. I am grateful to have discovered this gem in the Bay St. area.

This sweet spot is incredible! You can feel all the care and love that went into creating this space - the decor, environment, one of a kind. I went to see Kristyn for a razor cut. She is so wonderful, passionate, and knowledgeable across the board, truly, she lives up to the name of hair witch of the North, magic hands! Thank you:)

I recommend this salon to everyone! They are so welcoming and genuinely nice people. The atmosphere in the salon is so great, I love all of the plants and bright colours it really boosts my mood after a long day.Kristyn is always so great and non judgmental, it feels like a safe space! If you are looking for a big hair transformation or just a regular trim this is definitely the place to go.
