Shady Lane Boarding Kennel
HOME AWAY FROM HOME!We have boarded our dog here twice now. It is the best facility we have used, AND THE LEAST EXPENSIVE. Dog owners are allowed to see the kennel area. Floors are all ceramic tile and spotless. Staff are very friendly and caring. Our dog is in great spirits when we pick him up. Very clean.

Had a great experience when we boarded our dog for the weekend of our wedding...he was happy and healthy when we picked him up and he had a wonderful new haircut. He is going back today for another visit while we are on holidays!

Specifically said to feed 3 times a day , was only fed twice a day, none of his treats were given. when we picked him up everything including him was covered in pee, and our dog never pees inside or in his crate at home. Can usually hold it for 6-8 hours. Must have been left for a long time . Water dish wasn't present in his crate. Do not recommend this place.

Ours dogs are not stressed at all when we pick them up. Owners are polite and friendly and really care about our babies.

they are a very good kennel clean very clean the girl who looks after the dogs is so good with them and looks after the special needs dogs with care and attention she is like a dog whisperer and they will groom and cut nails as well that's extra lol also very reasonable

Confirmed our visit date/time with the owner and showed up on time after driving 2 hours from Northern Bruce Peninsula and owner was not there. Daughter showed us the kennel but only responded to our questions rather than trying to get our business or asking us questions. Kennels were cool on this hot day but had a terribly pungent dog odour. Kennel runs are only opened 4 times a day for about 15 minutes, which seems odd since they are enclosed. Why not leave them open all the time so dog has more room and does not have to sit in the kennel for the other 23 hours every day. Will not leave our dog here.
