Laser Vision London

Both my wife and I had lens implants from LVL completed by Dr. Tayfour. My surgery was just over a week ago and Dr. Chris (optometrist) was very positive during my follow up- said I am progressing well and that it may take a few more weeks to fully adapt to my new lenses. Having lighter coloured eyes can make a patient more sensitive during the healing process I am very happy with my vision and can see the improvement in just this first week. I will give an update before too long to further document my experience.My wife`s experience was a faster healing process having dark eyes. She did not experience any halo effect that was fully explained and pointed out that it will diminish in time. Her vision was excellent within a couple of days and that was certainly a factor in my proceeding.Overall we are very happy to be Rx glasses free and found the treatment from all the staff to be professional and efficient.A big thank you to our surgeon, optometrist and the office staff for making this such a positive experience.A brief follow-up and several months after my procedure I find that the halo effect around lights in the evening has diminished nicely however it is still present as was explained to me pre op. I am still a 5/5 reviewer and am very pleased with my vision! I would do it again and I highly recommend Laser Vision London.

I am very pleased with the results of my procedure. All the staff have been professional, kind and helpful. Everything is well organized, with a very good information package. On the day of treatment they talk you through the procedure so you know what is happening the whole time. Good follow up in place should you need it.I can highly recommend this clinic

On June 22, 2022 Dr. Bruce Nichols performed complicated laser surgery on both of my eyes to correct vision issues caused by astigmatisms and cataracts. I have been seeing Dr. Nichols regularly since the late 1980’s for glaucoma and over this period have received excellent care augmented with trust, confidence dignity, respect and a professionally friendly relationship. The care and treatment by Dr. Nichols, and the entire staff at LVL, is exactly the same and second to none. I was one of Dr. Nichols first patients and now enjoy the privilege of being his last surgery patient as he approaches his well-deserved retirement commencing this month. The staff and facility are outstanding and I’m confident my experience at LVL will continue to be replicated to the benefit of their future clients. Dr Bruce Nichols and his whole team made this a smooth and great experience. I was very happy with the consult, answering of all question and providing great information for me to decided if I wanted to proceed with correct vision surgery. They day of the surgery was smooth and went as expected. All staff were friendly through the whole process and Dr Nichols was excellent.

It is nearly 3 weeks since I had my cataracts removed by Dr Nichols. I am in my 70s and I was extremely shorted sighted; and because of that my cataract surgery carried a higher degree of risk. At the consultation my eyes were thoroughly examined and Dr Nichols explained the risk and everything to me. His assistants gave me a list of Dos and Don’ts for before and after the surgery. It is very important that you follow these instructions. The actual surgery was very quick and painless. Dr Nichols and his team did a marvellous job. A few hours after the surgery when my eyes were no longer dilated, my distance vision was very sharp, clear and crisp. A few days later I called the office with a question. Dr Nichols himself called me back to answer my question and to re-assure me that it was part of recovery. Everyone I interacted with at Laser Vision was very professional and helpful. I am extremely satisfied and very pleased with Laser Vision.

I recently had ICL surgery by the wonderful Dr. Tayfour at Laser Vision London, and I cannot begin to express how thrilled and thankful I am! I had lens replacement and was told if things weren’t right, I could call back in three months to let them know. I called after three months and was told that I should wait six months before I call them. When it was six months past, I called again and was told to go see my own optometrist. Why they didn’t tell me this in the first place I don’t know. after three visits to my optometrist, I called London again. They finally took me in. They said there was nothing wrong with my eyes. I see blurriness all the time like having dirty glasses on especially when I’m looking towards a window or when I’m driving. I am still trying to find an answer. Why , I see this blurriness. It has now been three years and it’s very annoying. I asked a friend who had gotten it done by another doctor and she said she sees nothing like that. I’m trying to find another doctor to look at my eyes. Just to let you know beware.

I had bilateral cataract surgery one week ago performed by Dr. Bruce Nichols. I am amazed by how bright everything is with such vibrant colors and white whites. It feels odd to not wear glasses after needing them for over 50 years, although they are still needed for reading.The experience at Laser Vision London was fantastic with professionalism from start to finish, with the first contact, to the consult with Dr. Nichols who explained everything thoroughly, to the surgery and the follow up. All the staff were pleasant and efficient. A special mention to Dr. Heard, the anesthetist, and Kyla who called with pre-operative instructions and was very helpful in answering any questions.I am so happy that my optometrist referred me to Dr. Nichols and now I can see the world in a new light.
