I received a computer desk from a person moving and tried to get a piece that was broken and they couldn't help me because I didn't have a shipping address is to were it was shipped to I was even willing to pay for the piece

I have never been so appalled by a company's customer service. We recieved a desk made by this company, and it was missing a board, all the hardware, and a piece even came broken. I did give benefit of the doubt to start about the broken piece, due to shipping. After talking with the company multiple times, I know now it very well could have happened prior to shipping. They say they pride themselves in customer service, that is a lie. The ladies are all very rude, and seem to not have time to talk to you, nor make sure that all your questions and problems have been resolved, before hanging up on you! I paid over $200 for a desk to come incomplete, and broken. My advice, is learn from my mistake, and don't make the same I did by purchasing this company's products.

Worst customer service. I ordered a bed it was missing 4 major hardware parts . They said it will take two months to get parts in. And when they finally sent the parts one part was again missing and the customer service said they sent all the parts. So annoying and frustrating. When I complained about service they told me to return the bed if u are not happy. Will never order their product again. Haven’t even used the product yet so don’t know how the bed will be. Thanks for teaching me lesson.

I purchased an antique desk through lowes that is manufactured by this company. When the first one arrived, it was completely damaged. I contacted lowes and was offered a full refund. I repurchased the item because i love it. When the second one arrived there was a small chip on the front of it. I called monarch and asked for touch up paint to make it not noticablr because i did not want to chance getting another more damaged desk. They told me they do not sell touch up paint. I managed to find some on my own and made the chip unnoticable. Less then a week later the drawer fell out of the desk because it is made of cheap plywood. It smashed my laptop on the ground completely breaking it. I contacted lowes who said because i no longer have the box, cannot offer me a refund, and had to go through the manufacture. Monarch stated they would send me a replacement part but considering this is my second desk of theirs and the reviews on this item are already rated a 1 star, i want a refund. Monarch does not stand behind their cheap products even though i paid almost $400 for it. I now am out $400 for a cheap useless desk and $1200 for a brand new laptop.

Horrible customer service. Woman I talked to and her supervisor was angry at me and rude instead of being understanding and giving solutions when I asked the status of my order. Will not order againEdit: Received notice that my order got cancelled with no reason given. Must have been this review. What a vindictive petty company - leaving you to wait for weeks just to cancel your order over a review. Don't waste your time here

Ordered a coffee table and end table set. It arrived severely damaged. The item only though, the box and all the protection inside was in perfect condition. So they damaged it at the warehouse and just decided to pack it up and send it anyway. Then to top it off, they ignored all of my multiple attempts to get replacement parts, including a complaint from the Better Business Bureau. Safe to say I returned the set and ordered something from a different company.

If I could put -1 star I would. I purchased one of their dining sets and the chairs that came with it were so uncomfortable and not built well. As a college student I can’t afford much so I just dealt with it. However, just shortly after a year while I sat on the chair it broke... keep in mind I am a petit woman (approx 115lbs) and it snapped at the welded portion, not any of the places I put together. So, I emailed customer service to get another chair sent as I would be a loyal customer if they helped me out. Their customer service took more than a week to get back to me and all they sent back was “no we only give 1 year warranties”It is absolutely ridiculous, I have never broken a chair in my life. I’ve had cheap chairs last me 10 + years because I treat things carefully and well.As a business student it would have been waaaaay smarter to send me a $30 chair for them and keep me as a client as I would have been loyal. This company is trash never purchase anything from here.

I love the TV stand I purchased. I normally don't write reviews but I had to give a shout out to this company. My TV stand arrived within a few days and the packaging was incredible. It looked like it was bubble wrapped so it was in pristine condition when I opened the box. The assembly instructions were simple to follow, all tools were included and it took me no time to assemble. It looks great in my living room and I have already seen matching pieces to my tv stand that I plan on ordering. Great quality and simple to assemble. Thanks Monarch!

Desk I purchased was perfect. VERY easy to assemble with simple instructions. The size and functionality have turned out to be the BEST decision on my part! I'm glad I took forever to find this desk because it truly is perfect for my needs! With a finished back, it can be placed anywhere in my home office and it's neutral colors can fit in any decor. Highly recommend!

This was the situation: I ordered 6 (3 sets of 2) I 1071 chairs from Amazon. They were delivered by Canada Post. One of the boxes seemed a little beaten up. When we opened it, it was missing the hardware. Based on the reviews for Monarch Specialties, I feared calling customer service to resolve the issue. I also feared not being helped since I placed the order through Amazon. Well, first, reaching someone was a breeze! And second, I spoke to Lina (I hope I'm spelling that correctly) who immediately handled the issue. The replacement hardware could have been mailed to me which would have taken a few business days. Instead, she even offered for me to pick it up directly from their warehouse reception which is near where I live. Quick, simple, and courteous. Thank you! And we love the chairs!
