Great working with Alex to furnish our new home. He went out of his way to help us find all the right pieces and has great taste for any budget.

My sales associate (Kal) was amazing. He got me the best deal possible. There was a problem with the financing with Fairstone due to some type of technical glitch at their end. Kal was amazingly patient in helping me get this sorted out. Kal and another associate Anita) came to my home (for a fee) and provided suggestions on design and colour. I really appreciated their input because this is not my area of expertise.

Anita was so lovely to deal with from the minute I walked in the door looking for information on new kitchen appliances. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and went above and beyond helping find credits sitting on my account that I didn't know where there. I was able to get the range, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, and stand up deep freezer that I wanted at the best price in town. I would highly recommend seeing Anita when price comparing here in Vernon, chances are it will be your last stop!

Overall we had a great experience! Kal was fantastic to deal with, he helped us narrow down the perfect couch despite us being extremely indecisive. He also helped arrange delivery on short notice which was really appreciated! :)

if you need furniture see Alex.. . A friendly professional non-pressure salesman.. I went in looking for two couches ..I had concerns because I do have a 169 pound dog and I was tired of sharing a couch with her. He gave me knowledgable information on fabrics/ warranty, dog protection program…. With the information he gave me, I decided to stick with leather furniture….. thanks again man I’ll definitely be seeing you in the future

Over the last few years, I have purchased several large appliances from City Furniture in Vernon. I know both Ray and Das Kandola from my time at the Westbank Board of Trade. I admired both men for their civic commitment, which was a key factor in our purchasing from their company. In years gone by I've had many an issue with so called warranties. However, City Furniture has been true to its word and gone above and beyond. Let me explain; usually, when an item is under warranty, the manufacturer deals with the issue - which usually means you call their international toll free number, wait on hold, and they try to fix it over the phone and, when that's not possible, set an appointment for you a few days down the road for one of THEIR techs to come by and fix things. This doesn't work so well in the hospitality business. When one of our guests cannot use the dishwasher in a 16 person chalet, this means a hell of a lot of dish washing needs to be done by hand, (not exactly what folks have in mind when they lay out big bucks for a December ski vacation)! When I was notified that our relatively new LG dishwasher was not working properly, I called Lee Courts who had tried to repair an LG dishwasher I had purchased a few years earlier from a mass distribution retailer. Lee asked me if my recently purchased City Furniture LG dishwasher was still under warranty, to which I answered I'm not sure. I told him I would contact City Furniture the next day and find out, but that I was concerned about my guests and them having to wash their dishes by hand that evening. Lee said that he would squeeze me in the very next day and that we could resolve the warranty situation later. I am most impressed. Putting the customer first is just a wasted slogan when it takes 3 to 5 days or more to finally see a qualified specialist technician coming in from afar. The vacation is already seriously negatively impacted. Lee's quick and selfless action saved the day for us and minimized the discomfort for our 16 quests. I truly appreciate this and will always give City Furniture first thought to any future appliance or furniture purchases. My washer bit the dust and I was looking for a replacement quickly. Kal and City furniture were so helpful and efficient. Using the handy text feature on the website I was able to message with him. He responded quickly with what was in stock and available. Also, made delivery and removal of my old washer a swift and pleasant experience. My new one was installed and running by 3pm the same day! Thanks again!

We stopped in today to look at sofa beds. JD helped us and was excellent. He was very knowledgeable, helpful and informative and wasn't pushy which we appreciated. You could tell he knew a lot about the furniture and the material etc. We will definitely buy with him once we figure out which couch will work best. :)

Our first encounter at City Furniture with Alex couldn’t have been better if we scripted it ourselves. Alex worked very hard with us choosing the right appliances for us and our new home. After a bit research we came up with choices and made our purchase. We couldn’t be happier. Our second encounter would turn out to be even better. We went on New Year’s Day to take advantage of their “Axe the Tax” event and sale prices. Again we sought out Alex who helped us choose the right custom table, finish, edges and chairs. We also purchased a second dinette set for our kitchen. Alex let us know that we were also entered in their draw to “Win Your Purchase”. As if anyone ever wins those… well I gotta say someone does… we did!!! We’ve had a rough 2022 so this brand new fresh start with this win is amazing! Thank you to everyone at City Furniture but most of all… Thank You Alex, your knowledge and expertise is outstanding! We look forward to our future purchases… we have two more rooms to furnish!
