Toad Rock Motorcycle Campground

This place is exceptional! If you’re a motorcyclist, highly recommend staying here. There’s plenty of riding to do nearby. Everyone will help you decide where to go and make your trip very memorable.Mary is the owner - prepare for a hug!Leah is her main squeeze, she’ll hook you up with a place to stay and everything you need to know.Chooper will cook you an awesome breakfast and supper.Everyone has great recommendations for places to ride in the area. Plus they’re extremely friendly!The dogs will bark at you but they’re all the sweetest things. Especially Norma JeanAdditional Info:Email/Facebook message to reserve a spot or a cabin.They have coolers you can borrow and ice you can buy for your food/beers etc.Coffee is available from 6-10am at the main social area.Supper I believe was 6-8pm in the same place at Grants Grill.They have showers, toilets and sinks to do your business.If your bike needs a look, they can help you with that too. If you love to ride a motorcycle [all makes, all models] on the BEST roads in the Kootenays of BC, love to have fun & meet great new people with similar interests. Then Toad Rock is a destination you MUST add to your bucket list. The proprietors are the nicest folks you'll ever meet of this fantastic [honor system] campground (complete with flush toilets, hot showers, laundry & many cabins, buses, bolers & boats to stay in, if you don't wanna pack a tent) & those that have chosen to hang & help, are the kind of folks that keep you planning your next ride to come back & hang with again & again. Spend a night or stay a week. Once you do... You WILL be back. I'm most certain of that. Ride in (or drive in if you must) & check it out for yourself.You'll surly be impressed with all they have to enjoy.

Really, really cool place. I've stayed there twice now, once for an event and once with a couple of friends. The pricing is very reasonable, the facilities are great, and the owners are very friendly and helpful.If you don't like motorcycles or dogs, (or happy the pig) this isn't the place for you, but if you do it's absolutely worth staying here.

Best place to buck off those riding boots and unwind. Been here several times and wish I never had to leave. Magical- But remember it's not real.

There is only magic here. I still prefer to tent and have never been turned away. Leigha runs the campground and Mary still participates in the management. This is a safe second home for many riders. The motorcyclists who frequent here are provided with showers, gas grills, a Pavillion for socializing and the best security for a good night's sleep. Mary's dogs keep the predators out and the proof is in the free range chickens and the Pig Happy" who visit campers while cleaning up after campers. This is a home away from home and the last place on earth that works on the honor system. I recommend this place to every rider looking for a more adult centered stay. They have added many new shelters and you can even sleep in a Tee pee....an old bus....or bring your own trailer. This is a motorcycle campground that is unique and full of love."

I could write an essay about how wonderfully welcoming and eclectic this place is, but you better check it out on your own. If you are moto camping in the kootenays you owe it to yourself to spend a night or two here, take in the atmosphere, socialize. No place like it anywhere else

Excellent camp ground of you are in the area. Clean ample facilities, friendly atmosphere, and a unique motorcycle centric feel made this a must return destination for me. First class service, Mary came out to greet me upon arrival and ensure that I found the proper cabin.
