Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Montreal

The reception staff was very friendly, however, the room was gross. The sheets at least looked clean, but there were stains on the headboard and box spring. The walls had holes in them in the bathroom and the paint was peeling off. There was pee on the toilet seat and hair in the shower. The WIFI didn't work and the lock on our door would not lock. Everything about the room should not be worth the nearly $150 spent. Absolute robbery and we told the receptionist the morning we left and nothing was done about it except giving an apology. This type of false advertising is disrespectful and slimy. We should have received some sort of compensation. The issue here is not the staff in any way, it's the fact a room in this condition is even being booked when it looks like that and especially at the price it is listed for.

Stayed for 1 week but there was holes in the bed board and the shower curtains were a little yellow. Nice staff but never changed my sheets even when I left out the change sheets signage.. Also our key card kept deactivating:( But a good spot close to the metro!

The rooms were really not clean - sticky floor and we had ants in the room. The room was 28 degrees when we arrived (in April) and we had to put the A/C on for the duration of our stay. They were completing painting of other rooms/doors on our floor and we could smell paint fumes the entire stay. Would not recommend.

These guys have charged $749.62 without authorization. The original booking amount was $624.80. There were no upgrades. These guys have charged an unauthorized amount of $124.82. On asking for the explanation for this, the ladies at their front desk were threatening of calling the police on us instead of explaining. We feel ripped off staying at this disgusting hotel and the front desk staff was absolutely rude. I will also report this matter to the regulator so that these guys don’t cheat anyone else in future.

It was my first time entering the hotel even though it is beside my college. TAV college. It is a lovely place for any occasion. One of the halls was used for the graduation ceremony of my colleagues and it contained so many people. I recommend Ramadan Hotel.

I would have given them 0 star if I had the option. This place is filthy, please don’t bother booking here. Our washroom was dirty and the room looked haunted with with all the spider webs. We asked for a heater and it wasn’t working. We booked three rooms and the tv in all three rooms weren’t working. The rooms smelled like smoke or some other pungent smell.

I recently had the unfortunate opportunity to stay at Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Montreal, and I must say that it was a truly disappointing experience. From the moment I arrived, I encountered numerous issues that made my stay incredibly unpleasant.First and foremost, the behavior of one particular employee, whom I believe her name was Vino, was shockingly unpolite and unprofessional. Her lack of basic courtesy and disregard for guest satisfaction was absolutely unacceptable. It seemed like she had no interest in providing even the most basic level of customer service. Her attitude was consistently rude, and she made no effort to address my concerns or make me feel welcome during my stay.To make matters worse, the parking situation at this hotel was a complete disaster. Not only did they charge an additional fee for parking, which was never clearly communicated during the booking process, but they also insisted that guests park in their side plaza. This arrangement was inconvenient and seemed like a cheap attempt to squeeze more money out of guests. It's outrageous to charge for parking and then expect guests to park in a separate location, creating unnecessary hassle and inconvenience.I expect a certain level of professionalism and transparency from a hotel, especially one that bears the Ramada Plaza name. Sadly, my experience at Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Montreal fell far short of these expectations. The poor behavior of their employee Vino and the parking issues I encountered left a lasting negative impression on my stay.I strongly urge potential guests to reconsider staying at this hotel. There are surely better options available in Montreal that prioritize guest satisfaction and provide transparent policies. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment by choosing a different hotel that values its guests and provides a more enjoyable experience

We were a party of 4. We stayed there twice on 2 different nights during the last weekend. We had 2 rooms each time. The first time, one of the rooms was decent with no apparent issues but the other room did not have functioning table lamps. We were billed for the rooms and parking was free. The next time when we visited 2 days later while we were passing through Montreal, we were informed that our parking was chargeable although it was booked after we checked it was not. We arrived there at 3 in the morning (we had informed the property pretty early in the day of our timings), we received rooms at the end of the corridor where there was no lift service and we had to lug our luggages on stairs for a flight. The rooms were pretty shabby and the bathroom was quite dirty. Since it was at 3 in the morning and we were checking out the next day, we did not disturb the staff at the front desk at the hour. In the morning we found that there was water logging in the tub, while checking out we informed this to the front desk. The answer to this was we recommend you to book the King sized room in the future"

Please avoid if you can. It’s better to spend 30-40 dollars more to stay somewhere else.Hallway - dirty, smelly, dingyRooms - unclean, small, overall wouldn’t stay for more than 1 nightLocation - midtown Montreal so it’s not great and not bad eitherBreakfast - stale, cold and not enoughParking - 8 dollars and it’s first come first serve so even if you paid, you might have to park at a parking across the road (don’t know how safe that is)Oh and don’t stay here if there is a jewish holiday as the chef doesn’t come on those days and hence all you have is fruits, bread and coffee.Only good thing is the staff that is keeping this running - they were polite and helpful.Overall - look at other options!
