If you want or miss authentic Filipino food and experience, this is the place you should go.

Potatoes are raw and some potatoes are don’t and its not really taste like authentic filipino food and the letchon paksiw it doesn’t really taste like a letchon paksiw all I tasted is pure sweetness on it like come on the menu at the same is very expensive .

Decent filipino restaurant. The one in Richmond is better in terms of service and quality of food. But not bad. We ordered food and then they told us that they didn't have sigsig which was a little disappointing. But we got the crispy pata which you can't go wrong. Small place near Joyce Station. The staff is OK. There's not a lot of room to move around. I can't imagine what it would be like when it's busy. We went when it was pretty dead. And there was still not much room to move. I'm 50/50 in recommending this place. The one in Richmond is much better. This one leaves me wanting more.

This place is underrated, and I recommend you visit this place! The staff are wonderful here. Kumare Express is a grab and go version of their main restaurant, Kumare, in Richmond. It’s a classic Filipino eatery. Clean space and friendly atmosphere. My friends and I love this location, since it’s easily accessible by sky train. We stop by when we are in the area, or have real bad cravings for Filipino food!My favourite dishes: BBQ skewers (must try!), Sisig, Dinakdakan, Dinuguan, and Rellenong Talong

Its too pricey and the food doesn't taste as good. I ordered lechon kawali and they charge $17.00 for a very small plate and its not crunchy and taste bland.They put so much tomatoes in everything and its not even sauteed properly. Its not worth it. Its hard to find a good Authentic Filipino restaurant here in Vancouver.Im not gonna order again.

I'm a regular and always buy Empanada's here, Both Pork and Chicken and they are so Delicious! Perfect on the inside and nice and Flaky and crusty on the outside. They never fail. Service is really good here and they are always so welcoming! There are quite a few other eatery's beside them and this one wins my vote!

If you're looking for fresh cooked cafeteria food, Kumare is a fabulous choice for a wide variety of Filipino classic dishes, including BBQ skewers, fish, pork, chicken, beef, pancit canton, pancit bihon, steamed rice, lechon kawali, and many others! The people are kind - once I was completely broke, and they graciously fed me anyways! I paid them back as soon as I could, and I continue to hold them and their services in high esteem. Don't let the modest & sparse dining area fool you - this is High Quality Food at a relatively competitive price! Kumare treats me like a dear and valued neighbour! I do hope they will be able to expand their dining facilities ASAP, should they wish to do so! Right now, as it stands, this is an excellent value for the Communities. Should they choose to buy out their convenience store neighbours or move in order to expand and improve their dining room facilities and accommodate more customers, then I would like to give them 5 stars!

Friendly, great services, food was good! wished the place was abit more spacious and roomy, but dining outside the petite tables was nice and cozy. Enjoyed the food!

First time eating at a traditional Filipino restaurant! Great service, great food- especially for those who miss the Philippines, and a nice, warm and clean atmosphere. And as a bonus, halo-halo to go is available!!
