Dave Shannon DJ & Photo Booth

Didn’t have the best experience in my September wedding. There was a miscommunication amongst my mom and Dave Shannon himself where he called me and threatened to take his DJ that was sent out. He made it sound like the DJ and my mom had an issue so we rushed back to the hall only to find out the issue was strictly between my mom and Dave and he was using that as a power move. He flat out said to me “it would be a shame if the DJ were to leave on your special night”, (amongst other comments). The miscommunication was over my mom under the impression he was bringing out a projector, however no form was signed to secure it. Understandable that one wasn’t there, but the way the situation was handled was very unprofessional and rude.I would give 2 stars because the DJ himself was okay but the song requests weren’t happening and we were promised lights but there never were any. I can’t justify giving any stars because the whole experience was terrible.

Dave and his wife Maria provided DJ services, photo booth services and even went above and beyond in helping us set up the venue and deal with some decor for our wedding. They were simply amazing. Easy to talk too, organized and experienced. I cannot stress enough how important it was to have a reliable person like Dave with us for our day. Maria’s photobooth album that she put together was a really nice thing to flip through a few days after the wedding and will be a memorable keepsake for the rest of our lives. These two have to be the best in town. Thanks again guys, truly having you working with us made our day so much easier.

Dave Shannon Music was such a great choice for our wedding! Dave was helpful, personable and very professional! They were so amazing and really made the day come together - without any issues at all, (as opposed to the venue & caterer!) As a bride, I didn’t have every song decided or written out and they just went with the flow and never made me feel bad about not being organized! They did the ceremony music and music for all the activities throughout the day and evening. Everything was perfect! You can’t beat the price, but mostly Dave Shannon Music is very experienced - and you can really tell through their professionalism. We would recommend them for any event. Thanks for making our day so magical and unforgettable!

He was very professional, easy to work with and so understanding throughout the entire evening. He was absolutely amazing and everyone appreciated him so much! Very accommodating and friendly! Dave Shannon was Absolutely awesome!I am so glad that someone on a Facebook page recommended him. Right from the start Dave was awesome to work with. He did an awesome job for our wedding. He did our ceremony music, he was our MC and he did all our music from cocktails right till we closed down the night, people were on the dance floor all night. We appreciated everything he did for us and our wedding. Dave even made it very special to me in how he introduced my grandpa and made a point to bring him up a few times in the night. Without me even asking, it meant so much!! Thank you so much Dave!!!

Dave Shannon is an amazing DJ! Not only did he keep our guests dancing, he also incorporated our own music from our culture!Let’s rewind to before the wedding. (He was actually more like a wedding planner.) Dave was ALWAYS accessible through text, email or whenever we decided to call. (I wonder if he ever sleeps!) We were married in May, Dave was the EPITOME of professionalism and understanding. COVID did cause more than one date change. Dave was on time, available throughout the process via phone or text or email and always had quick responses. He followed our preferences to the letter and he didn't even increase my rate after we moved bacvk into the wedding season, having originally booked for the off season. He's also just an all around kind and good man. 10/10 would recommend, my guests had a GREAT time.
