Galaxy Cinemas North Bay

Great experience, but prices are SKY-HIGH for food/snacks. As expected these days from any theatre.

The theatre is fairly clean and the staff friendly.However in Theatre 7 (possibly others), the speakers are very screechy during higher-pitched sounds. It made me want to plug my ears. It was too loud whenever any high-pitched noise happened. Kinda ruined the experience.

Needs an update and facelift. Should be moved to a new location that's accessible to more of north-bay. But all in all. It's what you need.

One of the theatres not playing sound of freedom pretty sad it’s surpassed Indiana Jones in the box office but they don’t play it.

Theatre does not open up until its almost show time and after show everything is shut down. Would love to use arcade but closed. Nachos were old and off waste of money.

We were watching 80 for Brady. For the first 25 minutes the screen was distorted with sparkles. It made the viewing impossible. We almost left. A while later the staff corrected the issue.

I've been coming to this theatre since it opened. The staff are always friendly and courteous. I like the space theme to Galaxy theatres. It has a Zero Gravity gaming area as well. Over the years, you can expect that things don't always go as planned, such as tech issues, when they have to close a showi ng or downgrade, say from 3D to 2D. This cinema is always good about giving you a ticket for the next showing or a refund.My one beef last time I went was that there are anywhere from 1-3 lanes open at the concession, depending on business, which is OK. What I didn't like was I got into one of the 3 lines running on this evening and waited for a while (it was fairly busy). I was able to get everything I wanted except an alcoholic drink, which I had to then line up again for in another line. It went quicker, but the only sign saying it was the alcohol lane was a little sign right at the counter. This should be obvious from a distance so you get in the correct line in the first place if you want a beer.Thank you, though, for many enjoyable years of quality movie watching in North Bay. I hope Galaxy sticks around for a long time!

Why are there nothing but violent movies playing constantly! Rarely a Rom Com or good drama. It is like we are all being encouraged to live in a killing video game. Easter weekend and again nothing but violence!!! Might as well make my own home theatre.

It's a theatre. I didn't find the pricing all that bad. Cost us, my husband and I,$55 and change to see the movie 65, that was for entry and a #3 combo.As for the movie, it sucked. I'm hard pressed to give it a 5/10, so 4.2.Tell you what. Pick a different movie, not theatre.Movies all seem to be stupid lately. Hollywood is letting the public down with the movie selections of late.This is my opinion.
