Dave Does Lawns Ltd.

I moved to Edmonton about ten years ago, since then I have tried a few different lawn maintenance & snow removal companies, all with very inconsistent service. Dave's service has been first rate, He has not missed a single week or snow fall, his service is impeccable. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Used this company 2 years ago without a problem. Changed company’s. Then without contact of any kind they sent me to a collection agency for late bill. Do not recommend. Very unprofessional.

We are using Dave Does Lawns services and have been nothing but satisfied!The men that cut the grass are very professional, very tidy about their work, dressed in uniform, could not ask for better service.Dave was prompt and professional when he came out to give an estimate.The office was very prompt, friendly, and more than helpful with any questions we had.Overall we have had a great experience working with this company and would highly recommend their services to anyone.

Updating my review to say that years later I am still an extremely happy year round customer plus many additional services (weed control, fertilizing, bed maintenance, tree removal, stump grinding, gutter cleaning, etc.) that Dave-Does-Lawns does or manages for me. This winter would challenge any service with all of the freezing rain we've had and my property is promptly cleared and safe, thanks to Dave-Does-Lawns!Original review: Been using Dave Does Lawns for three years and my lawn looks awesome and is always cut properly like clockwork. Love the ability to pay my account online securely. I used Dave for snow clearing this past winter and all I can say is wow! I fired my sons from snow clearing duty after they left a 4-6 inch deep cover of ice on most of my driveway. I called Dave and it was gone in a flash. After that, during big dumps and small skiffs, the snow magically disappeared. I am a super satisfied year round customer.

My yard has never looked so good. Dave has been looking after our yard since he started his business and goes above and beyond with the care and attention-he even pulls weeds he sees. I never have to worry when I am away, Dave looks after everything and moves items when I forget. I would highly recommend this company to anyone (I just don't want him to get to busy:).Last year at a moments notice I had to go away in the winter and called Dave to look after our sidewalks-no problem, we will squeeze you in as you have been a long time customer. Dave is very trustworthy and you can always count on him!

I had Dave and his team come out several times to do aeration, power raking, soil analysis and yard work. I was having issues in my back-yard with slow growing grass and he spent ample time explaining what he thought the root (no pun intended) causes could be. My lawn is looking better than it has in many years, with a solid plan in place to get the back-yard back to it's original glow.His team also made a recommendation to a local company for fertilizing and weed control, and their formula is much better than the previous company we had been using. Will also be getting a soil analysis to get to the bottom of the issues. Thanks!

I hired DDL first time in 2014 or 2015 they were a bit more expensive than competition but they had good reviews so I gave them a chance. The first year they did fantastic job on my 3 properties, everything was done in great fashion, quickly and efficient. Years after that their service started slacking, quality was not as first year and while pricing stayed the same quality has dropped. Last year (2018) my lawn was done so late in the spring that it was last in a whole neighborhood. They had different excuse, weather, labor, not enough man power, schedule, priority given to “year around customers”, etc. This year they came up with huge price increase of 60% over last year pricing (I have checked few other companies and got estimates that are ½ of their price) and that was the last drop. Soo if you hire them this year, they are most likely going to do very good job but after that is downhill in quality or uphill in pricing.

Dave Does Lawns has been doing snow removal for us since 2013. I interviewed several service providers and was impressed by Dave's attention to details and by the strong recommendations of his existing clients. Dave's crew shows up when required and does an excellent job for us. I am completely satisfied with their professional service.

Dave has done our spring clean up and mowing for a few years. He's great! He shows up when we need him, never cancels, pays attention to the details (corners, edges, etc.) and has even referred us to a great arborist. We have only good things to say about Dave, and this winter we'll be adding his snow removal services as well.

I have had Dave maintain my yard year round for the last three years. He and his staff are very professional and have very high standards. My yard looks more beautiful than than when I did it myself. In the winter my sidewalks are always shovelled down to the concrete. I have had many compliments and I would recommend this company. You will not be disappointed!
