This vet hospital is so great. All the guys there are helpful, nice, friendly and professional. That environment is also perfect. I can see that they really love dogs. They deserve five-star!

we have taken our dogs and cat here for years, visiting Dr. Meacher and Dr. Sofonia. So professional and caring. Both really cared about our animals, and took the time to explain medical issues and treatment options with us. I would give them 10 stars if i could!

The Amherst Veterinary Hospital family are an amazing group of caring people. Maeve loved coming to visit her veterinary family and would race to the door to meet them. They took great care of Maeve and always, always, ALWAYS had her best interests at the forefront of their recommendations. Even when we had to make the difficult decisions, their compassion and care showed in everything they did, with Maeve the center of those decisions. I am, and will always be, forever thankful to this incredibly wonderful group of people.

Amherst took care of my baby boy Roxas for the last 5 years and my experiences were always wonderful. I had to say goodbye to my 15 year old doggy yesterday, and Dr. Grant Cumberbirch was the most compassionate and lovely person through the entire experience. Thank you for your empathy during such a difficult moment in this dog parent's life ❤️

Our neighbour hood vet. We mainly go here because of the great Doctor Kong. We had a Westie with renal disease and had many difficult visits over a year span with Dr Kong who was always very helpful, caring and compassionate. It really made a difference and we are so grateful. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only con is that they are on the expensive side, but thankfully we can afford it and still have positive experiences. Def recommend it .

Very happy with my experience here. Dr Kong and the staff were very caring and helpful when my guinea pig had a bladder stone, I received multiple calls to check in, and Dr Kong was very thorough and gave great advice and care, fortunately my guinea pig is now doing well and I am very grateful!
