He helped us to feel very comfortable with the purchase. And he also offered a really good price for new winter tires and rims! And they made the vehicle clean and ready to go ahead of their busy schedule to make it available for pickup as soon as they could. I highly recommend doing business with Nick and his team. There’s only a couple of places in the Ottawa area that I’d ever feel 100% confident and trusting of to bring my car in for service. OnRoute Orleans is one of them. Owners (Nick and Chris) and staff are all honest and excellent. You can rest assured that if their mechanics say work needs to be done, that it does. There’s always a worry when new owners take over that the things you have come to know and count on won’t be the same. They are no longer new owners, but with Nick and Chris, they have all kept the excellent staff / service, values and ethics etc and have added other business areas (detailing, car sales, etc) without giving up anything of what customers value. This business is one you can trust and depend on. They are honest, kind, helpful and go out of their way to make your experience a great one! That has consistently been my experience. If I could give Nick and On Route 6 stars I would. We purchased a Jetta from them and our experience couldn’t have been better. We live two hours away so most of the transaction took place remotely, except for our son, who lives in Ottawa, taking a good look at the car. Nick was honest, disclosing any flaws he knew the car had, and he was fair in the negotiations. We arrived at On Route the first time and picked up a car registered and ready to drive home. Nick even gave us $20 to put gas in it saying he was sorry he didn’t have the time to do it. We had been looking for a specific car for a few months and had dealt with dealers who would quote us a price, then add a host of hidden nonsense fees to the cost. This was not the case with On Route. Bravo!

After a very thorough inspection we all agreed that it was time to buy a new (to us) vehicle, rather than doing costly repairs. Nick went out of his way to find us the perfect replacement which fit our budget and also felt like a nice upgrade. They also gave us a fair price for our old car.
