MOTEL DES DEUX LACS

As far as our motel experience goes, our two-day stay at Motel des deux lacs ranks top. Our suite was spotless, bright and cheerful. The new owners of the motel (since May) are a charming, personable and easy-going family who went out of their way to accomodate our needs. The gazebo was a nice place to relax, drink a coffee, get some fresh air and interact with the owners and other guests. For our children, the stay here is the highlight of their 10-day cycling trip because they got to play with the owners’ friendly dogs. Note to cyclists: It was somewhat scary to access the motel via Route 112 where vehicles, including trucks, speed by at 90 km/h. Alternatively, you can take Chemin Frost Hill which has literally no traffic but be ready to tackle the hills on an unpaved road.

Redefines cheap & cheerful. The room was small but lovingly well appointed & thought out. Our host was gracious and kind. Highly recommended!

Staff was rude, unpleasant and petty. After refusing my credit card they were upset that I didn't have another source of funds and vindictively reported my credit card stolen. The only reason I attempted to stay there was that the good motel in the area was full. Never again. I'd rather sleep in my car.

Can you imagine that in the middle of the night a landlord can throw out of the room a woman with her 7 years old son? I couldn't believe either..however I was a witness of this. The woman and her son arrived at 9 om to the motel, the landlord charged her for a full night, gave her a key and then after 4 hours he decided to throw them out!! The guys called police, however police was helpless saying that landlord is always right.. The reason why the landlord did so is because the room doesn't suitable for children stay"

Very hospital place to spend time. Wouldn't hesitate to book here again when needed. Hats off to the owners

Nice cozy cabin looking motel.We stayed here for two nights for a friend's wedding that was nearby.The owners are very kind and accommodating. We arrived late and were concerned that none would be there to check us in. We contacted them before had about it and no worries, they were there.As with every cabin close to a lake, you will fond some bugs inside - nothing crazy.Would definitely return. As a tip, if you are looking for a nice coffee in the morning, tou defo need to go to the Bruûerie Virgin HIl.

This is the most charming motel I've ever seen. The lovely decor, the incredible comfy bed, the hair dryer better than my own, the sanitized" label on the toilet
