On April 2nd 2023 Sunday, I went to drop off my empty cans. The worker there refused to take my empty cans stating that they are “full” when they clearly weren’t. This hasn’t ever happened in 34 years at Malton and I’m extremely upset. One star.

It's a great vibe. Great park and cycle path in the back. Grocery on the other side. And a mall down the lane. Enhance the experience while you're there. Talk to people, go ahead and talk to locals, mix it up, have some fun and be safe. Thanks to the good folks who run the place, originals and the new recruits, all a very cool tolerant bunch. Particularly because they tolerate my beer person behavior always.

When we came here to drop off empties. We had sorted them in the black box bins provided. Then when we were giving it to the cashier guy he said we needed to remove them from the bin and put them in the cardboard. When we said that they were usually in the bins he was just arguing that it says on the wall to put them in the cardboard trays. But there were no signs on the wall saying we needed to put them in the cardboard trays. Poor management

Well, the people working in there, do not worry about tge cx. I totally get it they might be busy, but at the time of pandemic, is it difficult for them to get a person outside the store to get a line made up for cxustomer? And when i walked into the store, (as a normal person would think the store is empty, as they did not have any line up outside) they were rude(tone) in telling me to wait outside. On top of that, they had a line made up inside which i think is again wrong on their part.Get your act straight and behave respectfully with all customers.

New staff is not properly trained. They are more focused on arguing about sorting of empties, and figuring out if they have stock, than relating to the customer. Brought back empties and was ripped off because I had a few bottles mixed up. 3 full 2/4’s, 1 with 17 btls, 3 lrg glass liquor btls. Given $7.30, but was told I was wrong in my calculations and should not mix corona and Mdg btls next time?!?!Polite staff and veteran staff great though.
