My husband Jack bought his third new Subaru car from Markham Subaru, this time is Outback. Excellent experience overall. The vehicle was delivered three months after we ordered and the entire process was transparent and easy. The sales professional Ollie Rocha went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and he wrote down the important bank information for us to make sure we had correct bank draft for the payment.. For anyone looking to buy a Subaru, I would highly recommend this dealership.

I made an appointment with the service department for a recall related to the back up camera. The day before my appointment I received an email notification to remind me of the appointment. I arrive to the appointment and am immediately informed that they do not have the part in stock to repair the recall and that I will have to keep calling back to check if the part is in stock and then re book an appointment. There was no date available for when this item would be in stock again. Why was I able to make an appointment for a recall when the part was not in stock? Why was I not notified before showing up to the appointment that the part was not in stock? Afterwards, I receive an email from Markham Subaru to confirm that I cancelled the appointment. No, I did not cancel the appointment, Markham Subaru was unable to fix the recall I had scheduled.

I have been coming to this Subaru to service my car since I moved to Markham more than 20+ years ago. Recently I picked up my 2022 WRX and I was extremely happy with the entire sales process. From Faye who took care of all my sales needs, to Jim who took care of the Business side and finally Carlo the GM who helped with some additional savings to lower my monthly payment. Also need to thank Lenny their Service Manager as I had a lot of OEM Accessories that needed to be installed in addition to the normal new vehicle prep. Highly recommend this dealer for both sales, service and parts.

This is my first review.On May 2, I had maintenance performed in here, which included topping up all of my car’s fluids. But I just saw that the coolant level in the reserve tank is below the “low” level, which is strange because I just performed maintenance a few days ago, thus it should be filled up to the “full” mark. The service staff aksed that I bring my car to the Subaru dealership after I called and emailed them a picture. After I mentioned the scenario to the one of the assistants, possibly Martin, he arrived and requested my key a little while later. I enquired as his plans and also asked if he could open the engine hood so he could check the coolant level in the reserve tank in front of me, but all he said was he was going to drive my car. After I explained my situation to someone else, Martin just returned and informed me that there is nothing wrong with my coolant level, indicating that they did fill up my coolant level in the reserve tank in May 2. The owner’s manual’s description of the scenario with my coolant level showed me that it hadn’t filled up last time, and I didn’t want to feel stupid due to my limited language skills and lack of car expertise. I am the one who needs apologies for the error—not for the lies. Even though it was only a little issue—my coolant needing to be topped up —lying to me enraged me .The assistant manager Tonia is the person who deserved the star; she walked out with me to check the coolant level and explained about overflowing. Although I believe overflowing is not case about my low level coolant, I did appreciate her compassion and her apology. Also, she offered me about the reward point which I wasn’t very interested in that. Instead, I was more interested in why they lied to me and why I am writing this review since I found I have video evidence that proved they poured coolant to my tank. My coolant wasn’t filled up during my maintenance visit, therefore I wasted time to going back there and they lied to me rather than telling me the truth. Alway performed my service here, but no longer, liar.

The vehicle was delivered two months before the actual delivery date and the entire process was transparent and easy. The sales professional Ollie Rocha went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and even gave me his USB cable to set-up my Android Auto so I could navigate easily back home. For anyone looking to buy a Subaru, I would highly recommend this dealership.
