Great selection of beautiful lunch boxes! The products are of amazing quality and come in a lot of different style. Perfect for elegants lunch gears or just really cute ones. The staff was very nice and helpful, helping me find exactly what I looked for in the back of the store! There's a lot of products and I wish I could buy everything. Strongly recommend!

This store has an awesome selection of lunch gear! They specialize mostly in bento boxes that are imported directly from Japan, but they also have lunch bags, utensils, water bottles, thermoses, and other lunch accessories like sandwich bags, sauce containers, food picks, and so on. This store is great for bringing waste-free lunch! As a student on a budget, I managed to save a lot more money by bringing my own lunches to school as opposed to eating out. I actually own quite a few of the store’s products, so here’s a quick and honest review of some of the things I own:- Sabu Hiromori Delicatus One Box Bento: This is my go-to bento box for everyday use. I love the fact that it’s wide so I can actually eat directly from the box. It’s like a glass Tupperware except it’s lighter and more compact, which makes it easier for me to carry around in my schoolbag, especially with all my books and my laptop. It’s also pretty leak-proof because of the silicone band in the top lid, though it’s definitely not made for soup or oily foods – as is the case for most bento boxes. What is really convenient about this box is that it has a flap on the top lid that you can lift to release steam when you’re heating it in the microwave, thereby allowing you to heat the entire box without making a mess.- Lunch Bowl Double Decker – This is another one of my favorites. I love that it’s on two levels so I can separate my food, but what I love most about it is that I have the option of bringing just the bottom bowl if I don’t need the extra compartment on top. The bowl is also deep enough for me to bring pasta, rice, or salad so that’s an added plus. It’s very compact because of its bowl-like shape so it can easily fit inside my purse without taking too much space. Its upright shape help prevents spillage to some extent as long as you don’t shake it around in your bag too much. Unlike a lot of the bento boxes, this one doesn’t come with an elastic to keep the entire box together because you actually have to twist the compartments to open and close the box.- Gel Cool Bento Lunch Box – Of the many bento boxes I own from this store, I find this one to be really unique because it can keep your food cold for up to 5-6 hours. It’s a magic box. Okay, it’s not really a magic box but the fact that you can actually freeze the lid overnight so that it becomes an ice pack is pretty magical and awesome. I use mine to bring cold fruits and cake! <3 Oh, and you can also heat the bottom box too so you can pretty much bring anything that can be kept cold and be heated later. Just don’t microwave the lid!- KeepLeaf Reusable Baggies – I normally don’t bring sandwiches to school but after getting this reusable baggie, I find myself bringing sandwiches quite often. This is basically like a Ziploc bag, except that it’s reusable so it’s pretty sturdy. And guess what? My sandwich doesn’t even get crushed! As long as you don’t put it at the bottom of your bag that is…hahaha. It’s also very easy to maintain because you can clean it by hand or even put it in the dishwasher or washing machine.- Zojirushi Thermos Bottle – Okay, if you’ve heard about this brand then you probably know that they make rice cookers, coffee machines, and other kitchen appliances. They make really good thermoses too and this one is no exception. I try not to buy coffee too often because it can get pretty expensive (Yes, I’m that cheap), so I usually make my own before I go out and pour it into my Zojirushi thermos. It works really well— In fact, it works too well because my drink is scorching hot everytime I drink out of my thermos. I LOVE IT. Though I do have to cool down my coffee by keeping the lid open for about 10 minutes so I can drink it without burning my tongue lol. It’s a great thermos overall. I’ve gifted this thermos to a number of my relatives who also loved it.

Great! I wanted to buy everything in this store! There is a wide selection of bento boxes, thermos, mugs and all types of containers, imported directly from Japan! Impeccable quality, very innovative and modern, fair price. The staff are friendly and very enthusiastic about their products, and are truthful about the functionalities. Great choice if you want to shop for a gift or pretty lunch box for yourself.

I made an order on Sunday on Lunch A Porter for 2 bento boxes, the shipping originally stated 5 business day, yet I received the package on Tuesday. The bento boxes was beautifully packaged and came in mint condition. 10 out of 10 for services, +1 extra point for the thank you note. I lost my word for the outstanding service that your store offered. Extremely happy with the products.

If you’re looking for eco-friendly / waste free options to package your lunch, this is the place. Their staff is helpful and knowledgeable and communicate very well in French and English. They have all the things: bento boxes (big and small), sealable salad bowls, drinking flasks, containers and lunch bags. They have stuff designed for kids. With stainless steel and bpa free plastics, you can’t go wrong.

Super cute, fun store with really practical food-related packing items primarily made in Japan (hence the superior quality!). The owner is very friendly and customer-service oriented, she greeted every customer who walked in while I was there. What I really liked about this store is that they have so many of the basics to help people get started with more sustainable habits - lunch boxes, metal bento boxes and tupperware, cutlery sets made of steel or bamboo, basically things that are compostable or built to last - and compared to other stores selling these, it's quite reasonably-priced and worth it. Really stunning gift ideas too that you won't find elsewhere.

Bought a present for my friend's daughter. The lucky unicorn lunch bag is distinctive and the pink mermaid bento box is adorable. I also have a light green bento box of my own. Thank you for the gift wrapping!

Finally a place where I was able to find Zojirushi coffee thermos! This thermos will keep your coffee steaming hot for at least 5 hours. I poured the coffee at 9 am, at 3 pm it was still hot, and after work while not as hot it was warm enough to enjoy it.
