Nakusp Municipal Campground
Just left Nakusp municipal campground. The sites seem clean and well kept it’s a short walk to town, The rates are fare but be warned they seem to be changed rules and fees. When I booked a week ago the website said generator use was allowed pretty much all day now it’s changed to 2.5 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon this is like most other parks so no big deal the one that surprised me was the charge to use the sani dump for registered guests that rule changed while we were there. Paying for dumping is fine but I don’t like having to search for a person to pay should’ve just left

Lovely, tree covered campground right in town. Washroom and showers were clean and well supplied. It is close to the beach, playground in adjacent park as well as downtown.

Beautiful campground, great facilities and amenities. I loved how they offer book swap and toys like baseball gloves and balls to use.

Beautiful and clean sites, very mature trees all around lots of space between the campsites. And there is clean showers and restrooms, and you can even wash your dishes there on the outside sink and good drinking water outside as well.

Great location, close to beach and skate park. Well kept sites with lots of room between each site. The showers didnt have any running hot water which I can get past, I can go a few days without showering... but I felt charging users of the campsite a cash" sani dumping fee with their makeshift jiffy marker sign was uncalled for. I have never seen a campsite charge their patrons to dump after a weekend. I see outsiders

Stayed a few nights here with our kids. Great campsite with all the amenities. Lots of space and trees/plants in between the sites, quiet, and clean. Walking distance to the beach in town which is great. Would stay here again!

We stayed here for one night on a recent trip. The RV park is very well cared for with private sites. We had an electrical hookup site. The park attendants are lovely. We were greeted warmly and provided with information about the area. For any mountain bike enthusiasts there are some great trails near by!

Very friendly and helpful campground attendant. Campground is within walking distance to beach and town centre. Free hot push-button showers. Good wash-up station for dishes. Lots of good tent sites depending on what you're looking for so make sure to look at the camp map first. Site #11 is probably the worst of all (right by the road entrance!) but even it is not terrible.

Amazing! This campground is an absolute gem. Stayed there with the family this past week and can't say enough great things. Friendly staff, clean washrooms, and hot showers. It's in a beautiful forest and a short walk to town and the beach! Great campground to use as a home base while exploring the area!

Extremely nice staff that are more than happy to help accomodate you. As a couple in an rv this site has everything we needed to replenish and rest before continuing our road trip!
