Cynthia and Stacey were wonderful! They were very helpful, answered all my questions and put me at ease. They helped me get some money back for a car rental that I was entitled to, which my insurance company never offered or mentioned to me. Someone failed to yield the right-of-way and cut in front of our beautiful 79 Beauville van that we had put $10000+ into over the last 3 years restoring and maintaining its mint condition. Their insurance adjuster said it was a write-off and offered us $4200+tax. I got that much offered privately in it's damaged condition.So I hired Accurate Auto Appraisal to get me another valuation of the vehicle and then forwarded their report to the insurance company. The insurance company came back with a new offer, of $9,818.88, plus HST 15% or $1,472.83, for a total of $11,291.71, plus $990 for a rental allowance that we didn't use.We would have liked to repair and keep the van, but that would have meant no claim from the insurance and thus no $6000 estimated to repair it. As sad as I was to let the o'l van go, at least, thanks to Accurate Auto, we've been compensated a fair amount for the loss that can go towards something significant. Who knows, maybe someone at Impact Auto Auctions in Moncton will pick it up for a song, make the repairs and we'll see it rolling down the highway making memories for another owner!Thank you Accurate Auto for your help in more than doubling the insurance company's offer!
