Rideau River Cottage
We stayed at this beautiful cottage for 5 days in June. We were a family of 9 (6 adults and 3 kids). The space was set up well to accommodate all of us. The location was perfect for us! The water was great for the kids as it was shallow enough for the young kids we had with us. We unfortunately had a fire ban on but there was a lovely propane fire pit on the dock that we sat at to enjoy the water and beautiful sunsets. Would highly recommend this place for a nice family getaway!

Rideau River Cottage
We stayed with the kids for March break and had a great time. The cottage is remote yet a short drive to Ottawa which is amazing. We were lucky enough to be able to enjoy the ice on the river a couple times which the kids loved. The place was super clean and the beds very comfortable, everything was thought of to make our stay comfortable. Matt, the host, was also super responsive to all my questions and requests. Overall great stay, will definitely be back!

Great location managing to be both isolated yet relatively close to amenities in Kemptville. We went in Winter and it was a gorgeous experience. Everything is incredibly well organized and thought out leaving you wanting nothing (maybe faster internet but satellites can only do so much right?)

I worked as a travel guide and have been to many places, and as a guest, I have yo say this is a 100/100 place. Definitely a hidden gem, off the beaten track, absolutely a Wow" place! Either you are looking for a weekend getaway

Rideau River Cottage
My family and I had a fun, relaxing, getaway at Rideau River Cottage. Our host, Matt, was very accommodating and helpful. The cottage was pristinely clean, thoughtfully equipped and beautifully decorated. The linens and pillows were very clean and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the beautiful view, hot tub, canoeing, fire pit, fishing and watching the kids and dogs play outside in the well landscaped, big open space and dock. We would love to return.

Rideau River Cottage
This place was beautiful, nice and quiet perfect getaway there was so much to do and see, if you are looking for a nice peaceful getaway away from everything this is the place. The owner is super nice and very quick to respond if you have any questions or need help with anything!

Rideau River Cottage
This cottage and the host Matt were exceptional. The host was very accommodating, polite and friendly. The cottage itself was a rare gem with all the amenities of home yet it a beautiful secluded setting. Fire pit, hot tub, dock, deck, boats etc with a rustic yet modern cottage. Our family had an amazing vacation!

Rideau River Cottage
We had a fantastic stay at the Rideau River Cottage during our Christmas holidays. The cottage was in a great location, just a short drive from town yet far enough to feel a sense of peace and quiet in nature along the river. The rustic but modern feel of the cottage makes you feel at home immediately, and you have everything provided to dine in style and comfort. The nearby trails make for an easy walkabout in the woods, even during the winter. Seeing the cottage interior and exterior decorated with Christmas lights made our stay feel that much more magical during the holidays! Would love to spend time here again in any season.

Rideau River Cottage
My family and I had an amazing time in Canada staying at the beautiful Rideau River Cottage. There were tons of amenities for the entire family to enjoy, breathtaking views, tons of chopped fire wood for amazing nights under the stars and a gorgeous dock and deck over the water. If you’re looking for a secluded beautiful place to get some R&R- book with Matt at the Rideau River Cottage
