Love the small town atmosphere and home cooked food. We had the schnitzel, pierogi and cabbage rolls....all great. The Ukrainian honey cake and coconut cream pie were fabulous. Very friendly staff and so much more interesting than a chain restaurant. Support local!

We stopped in on our journey back home and ordered the train engineer's sandwich, jumbo pierogies and cabbage rolls. They were incredible! The pierogies are well made in size and quality with loads of flavor and perfectly pan fried with caramelized onions. The corn beef sandwich was loaded with corned beef, sauerkraut and topped with cheese and a spiced mustard. The cabbage rolls were plump and perfectly seasoned with a hearty filling and flavorful tangy sauce and a bit of sour cream on the side to balance out the acid. All in all its a wonderful spot to stop in for Lunch, we look forward to stopping in again next time we are traveling through!

Really nice place esp if you are anywhere close to the Wilno/ Killaloe / Barry’s Bay Area. They have music on some nights, authentic Poilish cooking (very good), and excellent staff.

Great little pub full of history! My partner and I made the trip to Wilno from Ottawa for a fun road trip on Sunday, and the Wilno Tavern did not disappoint. It was quiet on a cold winter day, but very cozy and decor that had a story. I was recommended and soo excited to try their cabbage rolls and pierogies. They were delicious and super filling. Paired that with a side of Kichessippi amber ale beer and voila. The staff were friendly and made the best of a bad situation when the pipes froze. We will be back again, thank you!!!

If you love perogies, you must stop here. I was very pleased that they had a meat-free option. Will definitely be visiting again:)

Stopped in on a trip home from Petawawa. Great service, with a smile and friendly. Food… unfortunately disappointed. Burger was store bought and giant perogies…. My son didn’t like…. And he normally smash authentic polish perogies. Oh fries and gravy are good tho
