Avalon Laundromat and Dry Cleaning

We walked in (unmasked) the lady herself had one on (below the nose) and I totally respect everyone’s right to do with there body as they please we chatted with her and she showed us how to use the machine.only after we started washing our clothes were we told to put a mask on. We kindly declined only for the manager to come out (unmasked) telling us to put one one. We asked what the difference was between him and us and he said he was in the back which clearly at that moment he wasn’t. He then proceeded to kick us out.

Awesome service and clean place! The staff was super friendly and adjusted the tv for my son while she chatted and showed us how to use the machines. Will be returning :)

Been here a few times. Every time I come they have the 2 big load laundry machines in use for their dry cleaning service they run. For small loads it’s 4.75 a load. I spent 35 bucks washing a drying my clothes when it could have been cut in half. This is the only coin operated laundry in town. The least they could do is leave one big load open for those who need it. I went there expecting to be able to use a big load then split up my clothes in dryers. But because I had to spend 20 bucks on just washing clothes my stuff didn’t get dried completely. For that price I may as well go to the place around the corner from me and get wash, dry and fold service done. Never coming back.

Spent over $40 and wasted an hour and a half to wash 2 loads and dry 4 loads only for 50% of the laundry to not dry completely (even though it was less than the recommended amount per dryer). As well, one of the wash loads didn't spin out properly so I left with two blankets wet even after additional spinning in the industrial machines in the back. The owner wasnt in and the staff felt bad and offered to pay an additional $4 to the dryer but the machines were so expensive for ones that don't work properly.

Has to be the only laundromat on the Avalon like this... The lady seems to be self-centered, which is fine. She'll let you know when you're slamming the doors of the machines. She will not let you know of the service fee they charge when obtaining coin to use them.The layout of the mat is pretty cool decorated with vintage washing machines. The arcade games adds to the lure. Small place but very nicely laid out...Update: without access to a private clothes washer and dryer, has me revisiting this location more frequently. My concern has shifted from dishonest staff to the client type. Most psychotic liers, basically patrons exhibit characteristics that dwell in the spectrum Disassociated Narcissistic Personality Disorder.Other than that the laundromat it self still is very clean and decorated nicely. Prices compared to other laundromats across Canada are still $1-2 more plus unable to fully wash a dry clothes, will run an extra cycle.

Very clean and friendly. The staff was very helpful. They made change, it was $10 for one load: wash, dry and small box of soap. Clean washroom on premises. Go across the square to The Rocket Cafe and bakery for a coffee and snack while you wait.

DO NOT GO HERE.This place charges exorbitant prices bc people think they are the only laundromat in town. THEY are not.The laundromat at Bidgoods Plaza is much more sensible.They charge more than double their competitors and act like they're doing you a favor just by being open. They've increased their prices TWICE in the last six months.Not worth the price.What makes it worse is that (with the exception of one very lovely lady who has not been around for a while) the service is very rude and unprofessional.The guy in the office is especially ignorant.I will not go there again.

Easy to use, saved so much time washing 3 loads of laundry at the same time. Cost is equivalent to time. Basically a little over an hour and I spent about $40 but that was worth it to have all that clean clothes! Would definitely use again and would highly recommend.

Very helpful staff, there is always a machine available, and best of all everything is clean and working.I like to use their heavy duty washing machines for bed quilts—works perfectly!

Lady whose working is very polite...and makes u feel comfortableI enjoy doing my laundry. I'll take pic when I go Saturday
