Ordered poles from their website and put my address in Toronto as delivery. Got an email saying the order was canceled without explanation.Called them to see why it was canceled without any explanation, they said well we dont do cross country shipping, I asked them, well arent you in Toronto yes" they say

I wish zero stars were possible.After trying to purchase a $230 pocket knife my transaction was declined, twice. I called to find out why and the snarky, ignorant service rep told me their verification process (which is manual) insisted my shipping address didn't match my card. He then tried to tell me I must pay through e-transfer (with the same card and address) and would not take a manual payment. After calling the bank to verify my address was in fact correct I attempted yet another purchase only to have that cancelled by the store as well. I then purchased the identical item at another shop with free shipping on the purchase. I will never shop here again and am convinced these five star reviews are all personal friends of the owner. By far the worst experience with a Canadian outdoor retailer. Save yourself the hassle and shop somewhere who cares about ALL of their customers.

There is no way I can praise Al’s more. I bought a pair of Simms waders online. Fast shipping was on my doorstep the next business day. I encountered an issue. The waders looked nicely packaged but upon further inspection. THEY WERE USED! Somebody pulled a fast one and I was unfortunately the one that got them. I emailed Al’s and when they opened in the morning Dominick(my bad if i mispelled your name!!) Took care of the situation. He made it his priority to make things right and is shipping me out a new pair of waders. It’s refreshing when superior customer service is actually being practiced. It’s getting tougher to find stores that actually care about the customer, I am just glad I found the right store to give my business to. You fellas got a lifer! Thank you again.

Terrible purchase experience. First off tried to order ammunition and agreed to pay for shipping as per website. Then I get a call asking for 3x the shipping price in order for me to receive it. What the heck?I decide to five them another try and ordered a Browning choke tube from them. Again, wait for shipping and upon receipt of the item, it was scratched and obviously used. I sent them pictures and the best they could do is ask me to send it back. Terrible customer service on the phone and via email. One star. Do not recommend.

I can not say enough about the Crew at Al’s! I’ve been purchasing various items for about two years now both in store and online and the customer service has always been second to none! It was my first time visiting a few weeks ago at the recommendation of a friend that lives in the area. I was not disappointed and was helped by the patient staff who was accommodating and answered my questions. While I was not able to get what I wanted (out of stock) they did provide great advice and a pleasant shopping experience.

I just got another order filled from Flaherty's.They have the stuff I wanted in stock, it shipped quickly and it arrived well packaged.I can ask for nothing more (until next time).I recommend these folks for all of your outdoor needs..

Great team to work with. Been around forever. I'm happy to do lots of business with these guys. Awsome selection of high-quality firearms, ammo, and gear. They don't sell anything junk. One stop shop and great to deal with. Hope they stay in business for many years to come
