Poor food, the roast potatoes looked and tasted like they’d been cooked 2 days earlier and reheated. No Yorkshire puddings, the veg was average at best although the parsnips and meat we quite nice but you hardly got any meat. The queue for drinks was about 20 minutes to 1/2 hour. The staff were friendly and helpful but I feel the place was understaffed for a Friday teatime. 4 of us had the carvery and one of us had a meal off the menu which was good and arrived promptly. I was disappointed as I had heard good things about the venue as I hadn’t visited before. Unfortunately this has put me off returning.

A nice, chilled and family friendly pub/restaurant with an area for children that helps little ones stay entertained throughout your meal. Service was good, very friendly staff. Food was very good for the price - personally I went with the carvery which had a great selection of meats and all the trimmings. The overall menu is slightly limited but for what is on offer you can't go wrong.

It wasn't busy when I went in but staff and customers were pleasant. Staff carried a tray of drinks over for me because I couldn't do it. We were placed a bit far from the kids area so asked if we could possibly have a closer table, which they did for us, which I'm grateful for. Parking is very close to the doors and good disabled parking. You can get in with a wheelchair or mobility scooter and it's spacious enough to get around tables.

Food amazing - well presented and served with a smileStaff very helpful and considerateAs for the ' cakeaway' WOW WOW WOW!! Got to be seen (and tasted) to be believed, incredible value for money.Absolutely enormous portions BUT what you couldn't find room for there you were given containers to take home with it in. My elderly mother in law even got a pot of cream to take home with hers!!Would definitely recommend

We were disappointed having gone in and ordered a carvery. The veg and potatoes had been under the lamps on the service table so long that they had been burnt to a crisp. The roast potatoes were black. I couldn't even cut into the stuffing and even the broccoli was crispy. Such a shame as the service was very good and the staff friendly. This was the second time we visited as the food was lovely last time.

Been a few times now just to get an idea before reviewing. Parking is great and access is adequate. Various outdoor seating. Inside is spacious. Ordering food can be a pain having to queue. Went on an evening and the only carvery meat left was gammon. Was informed the other food was an hour wait. Didn't feel too busy I just assumed they were understaffed and decided not to let too many people in, which is good. Food was good and has a teen food too so slightly bigger than kids meals. Personally I think I would have preferred to have had the kids meals! Maybe I'm fussy but the choice seems a bit disappointing for the adults meals. Hope to be back soon to try the breakfast

I can’t complain about my full English breakfast pictured. However my wife ordered off the menu card. She thought eggs Benedict would be nice. However it didn’t arrive until the rest of us had finished. When it did, it was disgusting. Eggs were hard. The hollandaise split and cold. The toast was soggy and not crispy. But the chef still sent it out anyway. Very disappointing!

Table booked for 10 people arrived and booked in in plenty of time however we were then forgotten about, so instead of one table for 10 we ended up with 2 tables for 6 meaning members of our party were sat with backs to each other, our food then took an age to arrive followed by another long wait between courses. No one came to check if our food was ok till we had almost finished, no apology for forgetting about us. Only giving one star as unable to give zero
