We had popcorn chicken and onion rings. Delicious. Also great club sandwich. It's called Shirley's Spud wagon so don't go thinking it's gourmet. It's perfect

Shirley's Spud Wagon has been around for many years. It was here before I left home, I lived in the city for almost 20 years and I'm glad to see after I decided to come back and bought a house here that they still operate. I love to cook but there are times I don't feel like it. During those times, Shirley's offers great food, great prices and their preparation times are unbelievable. One of us had the club sandwich and the other the battered fish. Chicken slices were rich, thick and generous.The coleslaw was refreshing and not too creamy. The Caesar salad provided a unique take on the traditional recipe and was very good. The fish was flaky, tender, and the batter was cooked to perfection.

Great place for a quick cheap snack but the food is by no means bad. I love the fish and chicken and the poutine. Just whatever you do, don't order the burger.
