Mackage

I was in Calgary visiting this location. My store in Edmonton had the jacket in stock but this location pressured me into ordering through them probably so they could get my sale. The employee told me it would take three days to arrive and they would give me the courtesy of emailing me when it shipped. One week went by no communication on their part. I called the Edmonton store and the lady was so kind to contact headoffice on updates and solutions . She also told me that the Chinook store didnt tell me the correct shipping timeline. She was kind enough to text me my tracking number and still to this day no communication from the original store. Wish i got better service considering I payed so much for this coat and at least being truthful instead of just being treated like a sale.

The staff at the Calgary Chinook mall location are exceptional! The store manager was extremely helpful and provided me with one of the best shopping experiences I have had in a long time. He took the time to educate me about the different coats and materials, ensuring I bought the perfect coat to meet my needs, he has the perfect approach with customers. I will be a customer for life thanks to the staff at this location.

To start, I will be fair and say everything that we own (jackets and coats) from Mackage has been amazing. The reason for this review is a poor experience we had while Christmas shopping at the Chinook location. When my husband and I entered we were kindly greeted by staff, but before we even made it half way into the store we were approached by a short haired individual who told us he hoped “you are here to purchase something” as “I’m only interested in your money”. In the moment we laughed it off out of shock, but quickly made our way out of the store as we were turned off from buying anything in that moment. We enjoy luxury shopping and we have all over the world, but never once have we been treated so distastefully within second of walking into a boutique. I will continue to purchase from the brand as their things are worth the price for the quality, but I will think twice before coming into this location again as our last experience left such a sour taste in my mouth.

Me and my family always shop at Chinook Mall during boxing week sales. Naturally we made our way into Mackage and we were greeted by friendly-looking staff with a beautiful store. We have heard of Mackage through the comparisons of Canada Goose, Moose Knuckles, etc. and browsed some coats and accessories. Throughout our visit, two friendly employees helped us answer our questions.There was a moment where I was too focused on some merchandise and my parents had left the store already. On my way out, I overheard an employee behind the desk saying something along the lines of like

The people working were very nice. As this is my first time at this store, and I'm not familiar with the brand, someone introduced me to the products and let me know more. Outerwear sold here is quite expensive, but the styles are nice and it seems the quality is too.

The best customer service from the store! Store Manager went above and beyond and educated me with his knowledge of the brand and their products. He took his time to make sure I get the correct sizing and perfect jacket for my need! It made my day and great experience with Mackage!

I would give zero review if I could. I bought 2 jackets near Christmas from Mackage. As we all know this company is not cheap. Prices are quite high but quality is terrible. I took both jackets back to the store because of ripping and feather leak from them. They shipped both jacket to their head office for repair. I received them back after repair and nothing was repaired. I reached out to the email provided in tracking number to express my concern and they said that this kind of wear and tear is expected. Remember I only wore them for 3 months and wear and tear is expected after 3 months for something that paid over $1000. They do not stand by their brand and customer service is terrible with head office. Store manager was nice was I guess he can’t do anything about concern. I wouldn’t recommend this brand to anyone.

We stopped into the store yesterday to take a look at a jacket for my husband. The sales lady was very helpful and kind. And we love the jacket she suggested.We didn’t purchase it as I was wanting to make sure my husband tried on something he liked so I can get it for him for Christmas.However, as I was exiting the store one of the employees, was rudely complaining about another shopper (influencer as he called her) saying that the shopper tried on a bunch of jackets, took photos and didn’t buy anything and ended up wasting the sales associates time. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. I work in the sales industry and it doesn’t matter if the shopper wants to see one of everything, it’s my job to show them all the options. I don’t come to work to stand around and look pretty.Not to mention, Mackage products are not $100 - they’re over $1,000. So if I’m a person intending on buying, I’m going to take my time.Besides, the store is over staffed with employees who were standing around, I can’t imagine they were swamped with shoppers at the time that the lady was trying on the jackets.That sales associate is in the wrong business if he’s complaining about shoppers like that. And secondly, don’t ever speak about others like that in an open setting. Completely unprofessional.I wish I would have said something while I was there to put him in his place when speaking about others like this.Choose your employees wisely. And if they want to gossip, do it behind closed doors.
