You need a reservation here and if you want a swing table, you need to book way ahead of when you want to go. Great ciders and great pizza, better than they used to be if you have tried them in the past, try again! Great samplers of wine and lots of products on site to buy to take home. Very cute restaurant with Instagram worthy photos spots inside and out, would be fun for a birthday or bachelorette. Now not just a summer destination with their new building. Great staff as well!

My Mom wanted a special experience for her birthday and was so excited to come back to Shale Ridge! It was well-worth the wait! Not only was the wine/cider/food DELICIOUS, but the staff and atmosphere are top-tier! This will continue to be her bday tradition <3

Visited Shale Ridge before they had completed all of their landscaping, and it was still stunning. They have an amazing facility and views of fields. I got a Mimosa Flight (which is a unique option for those who don’t want wine), and got their pizza too! We all had a different one and all loved them. Can’t wait to come back when the landscaping is all done!

We discovered Shale Ridge on a Saturday daytripper. Such a lovely, relaxing winery. The staff and owner are very welcoming. The ciders and wine sampled were delightful. The flatbread pizza delicious. The biggest surprise were some tables with individual swings instead of chairs - so unique. We'll be back Shale Ridge.

So we showed up on Mother’s Day without a reservation . The made room . We had a fantastic charcuterie, flights f wine and code , and the amazing pizza . BTW the charcuterie was brilliant and well worth it . Highly highly recommend this place !

The staff at Shale Ridge were amazing! From the moment we walked in, they welcomed us and our puppy (gave him treats and the cutest bandana)!!We got the wine and cider flights and they were delicious!! So good that we left with 2 bottles of wine and 2 packs of cider!We ordered the veggie pizza and charcuterie and they were super accommodating to our dietary restrictions! Although this place is 3 hours from us, we will definitely be back!

We had a great experience this past weekend at Shale Ridge for our anniversary! The staff was very welcoming and the food was great! We ordered two cider flights which had great tasting options and had the gourmet pizza. The frosé was delicious as well! We will definitely be back when we are in the area next! We also picked up some wine on the way out from their retail section.

Such a fun time!! We went on Saturday at 3:45 so it was quite busy (understandably so). This being said, the staff cut no corners in making sure we had the best experience possible (shout out to our server Emma, she was awesome!) Amazing atmosphere, amazing staff, and amazing drinks!
