Needed to get my water heater replaced and called several companies. Tim was super informative and helped me decide between a tank and tankless water heater. His son Drew came out that night and got our old tank up and running temporarily for no charge, then came out the next day and installed the new tank. He had great craftsmanship and customer service. Hamblen and sons is a great company to work with! Tim is incredibly friendly when you call. He got us on the books asap. Drew(son) came and installed new gas lines, as the house was all electric. Drew installed a new on demand hot water heater and it’s venting. And took the 30 year old tank water heater away. He ran lines for a gas range! Yay! We are very happy and impressed! Did a great job on short notice. New Furnace plumbing was shotty and preventing them from removing tank so he took it apart, re-did it and cleaned it up properly" before removing tank. I had Hamblen & Sons come out and extend my gas line. Every time I call their office someone answers or returns my call ASAP. They showed up ahead of schedule (with my permission) and finished early also. Drew explained each process and answered my questions along the way, including discussing future installations in the fireplace. The gas line install went smooth, nothing was damaged or left dirty and my dryer fired right up and ran perfectly. I look forward to working with Hamblen for whatever gas line/ HVAC type needs arise in the future. I recommend them 100%.

Price was competitive with the market. Workmanship was very good to excellent. The single Installer was on time, got right with it, total installation time of two hours are less as I recall. *Note: Drew removed his shoes before walking on our carpet, without being asked. This is a small but much appreciated attention to detail!Tim and his son Drew really took care of us at a tough time. We were out of town and a storm knocked out our gas line, leaving us quickly heat or hot water when we would return. We are able to coordinate getting it fixed so we had heat when we got back in town. There was a small miscommunication on our end, and they were VERY fair and accommodating about having to come out a second time for an adjustment. They even identified a few other small issues that we resolved for a great price while they were here. Like a trustworthy mechanic, these are the kind of guys you really want to hunt down when you are looking for someone for years of service. Outstanding!
