I have been going to lldiko for many years. Her knowledge on skin care is unbelievable. I recommended my granddaughter to lldiko because of her terrible skin problem to her face. I have been a patient of Dr. Alanen for over ten years and have used the Revoderm products for as many years as I have been a patient. I recently started to also see Ildiko for some laser treatments to help deal with some skin changes as a result of years of sun damage and hormonal changes. The results are amazing and my skin is better than it has ever been. I was in for a small skin cancer surgery on Monday. Like all of my appointments with Dr Alanen, he’s on time, and he’s the most pleasant and personable Dr in short period of time. He remembers what we’ve talked about, you know he remembers you, he’s decisive and kind all at the same time. And he cares for the environment too! I consider myself lucky, I’ve had other Drs that just don’t measure up.

This clinic has saved me. I started coming here in 2019 at age 17 (male btw), and my acne was out of control. Huge, deep cysts and my self esteem was tanking. Dr Alanen and the staff welcomed me in with open arms, being a guiding hand in navigating my treatment based on my specific needs. I started on lighter antibiotics, eventually progressing to accutane when the earlier medication didn’t do the job. While I was scared of going on accutane, and my parents were certainly the same, Doctor Alanen was transparent and honest what would I should expect, making the experience far less frightening. Fast forward 4 years later, after finishing two rounds of accutane, going off to university, and now I’m getting treatment for my scars that I wouldn’t have gotten if I came here sooner!In short, if you are a parent deciding for your kid if they should see a dermatologist, choose this one. You’ll wish you came here sooner.
