Stopped into Ontario Telescope and Accessories on the weekend looking for some advice and to take advantage of some of the sales. Steve was a great help. I told Steve about my current setup and gear and the issues I was having. Without seeing my mount Steve told me what was causing the issue and when I got home, it was exactly as he had described. Steve knows his stuff so well that when I forgot to mention something in my setup he pointed out it wouldn't work the way I described reminding me about how I made it work. The thing I respected even more than the knowledgeable advice was Steve didn't push a sale. There were items I thought would improve my setup and rather than letting me buy them and find out that they would not make the improvement, he suggested I not buy them. There were other items I was considering but not all were in stock. Steve recommended give him a call in a couple of weeks when it should all be in stock and use the time to think about it. Oh and Steve even recommended buying a LESS EXPENSIVE option as it would yield the same results. Before I buy any more gear, I'll be checking to see if Ontario Telescope and Accessories sells it.

Steve was very helpful and knowledgeable in my purchase. It was on back order, so I knew I had a wait. However, I have purchased from Ontario Telescope in the past and was always satisfied with their service.

Fantastic dealer. I've purchased several eyepieces from them and was even offered a lower price on one as it was going on sale the next day. They have a great selection of quality telescopes and accessories. This is one of a small group of vendors I always pay attention to for great deals and advice. Follow their social media accounts as well!

I was very happy with my purchase from OTA, the item I purchased was BO so it didn't shipped right away but it was still shipped on the same day they had it back in stock! Steve is very quick to anwser (well there was still a problem where my emails would wind back in their junk mail but that's not their fault whatsoever). It's nice to be able to encourage a Canadian store instead of purchasing from the US or Amazon and still get a very fast service and shipping. I would strongly advise you DO NOT ship with Canada Post but with UPS or Fedex. They have a very broad inventory, you can find almost anything you need for your astrophotography needs.Will shop again for sure!

If I could give this company 10 stars I would do it without hesitation. In an age where Customer Service is largely mediocre at best, this amazing shop has blown my expectations out of this world! So much expertise, such variety of product, and just a super nice group of people. A real pleasure to deal with.

Prices are good and shipping is fast. Way better than Telescopes Canada

I have been an online customer of OTA since 2020 and I have had nothing but good experiences . They have excellent customer service and ship products very quickly after ordering. Whenever I need a part or accessory, I always check if they have it first before going somewhere else. Keep up the good work!

Not too long ago, I purchased my first telescope and some related accessories from Ontario Telescope and Accessories inc. The owner is knowledgeable and dedicated - he patiently spent one hour with me. He explained so many things to me that saved me a lot of research. It really helped me get started with telescope observing that very night. I've been easily seeing Jupiter's bands, Saturn's rings, craters on the Moon, and more! The store itself is inspiring and a hub of astronomy activity. An employee and customer showed me their astrophotography photos on their cell phones. I will be back here soon to continue my astronomy journey.

Steve was very helpful and answered all my questions I had as a beginner. I purchased a Celestron StarSense 8 Dobsonian and some accessories. It is now assembled and set up.
