Lifelabs Ironwood

Walked in with zero patients in line for a blood test. Receptionist was nice and made me feel comfortable. No problem with the nurse that took my blood test either. Overall the place was clean and I had a good experience.

This facility is brand new and just opened October 2022. They take appointment bookings online. I noticed that they have accommodations for Autistic persons as well which is great. The staff were really nice and professional. They had to refer me to another one of their locations for one of my requisitions but they assured me I could be seen there and wrote me a special sticky note as well as offering parking recommendations in that area.Although Google says the office entrance is closer to Steveston Highway it actually faces the inner parking lot. This location is super easy to access from Highway 99.

Always a line up. Always behind on appointments. Even with an appointment made online.

Very rude, people leaving angrily kind of rude. Then they tried to shake me down for $50 for a type of blood test. Never heard of that before. Even if it's accurate, it was handled poorly, with entitlement and no notice or other refence material I've ever seen. This place is literally the worst. Avoid at all costs.

People there are very friendly.

If you're looking for good service, it's definitely not here

Absolutely shocked by the service here, didn't know you can get yelled at for being afraid of getting a blood test done. Thankfully a nice old lady came in instead to help. If you are in the field of helping people you should be more sympathetic to your clients rather than treat them with absolute disrespect.

Kiran was wonderful! I was really scared and anxious and she dealt with me very well. Quick and Efficient. This is the first time I went BY MYSLEF for a bloodwork and DID NOT FAINT. Will definitely come here again. Staff are very accommodating and friendly despite the fact that they are very busy.

Absolutely the worst experience ever. Got my blood test done by Rawaa who literally yelled at me for being scared and nervous for my blood test. Literally flinched twice and that set her off and she just yelled asking if I want to get a blood test or not. I am honestly in disbelief how someone like her could even be working in this field. Just quit if you aren't happy instead of projecting your unhappiness onto others and ruining their day. Unprofessional to say the least and definitely she needs to be removed from health care. I ended up getting my test done by a nicer older lady who did not seem shocked by her coworkers actions at all. So I can say for sure this isn't the first time she's acted like this. I wanted to speak to a supervisor or make a complaint but front desk was not at all helpful and just handed be a bunch of cards and paper and turned me away. If there were other options I would never enter another lifelab facility.
