Under our health act, can’t charge for parking on hospital grounds, this is a continuing illegal tax on Canadians acquiring their essential services

Rate a parking lot experience? Seriously?It has several floors with lots of car sized marked off areas to park in. Well lit. There are stairs to get between floors. No attendant. Signage is good. Pay stations are at the level before the hospital entrance. Parking cost me 12 bucks for 12 hours. Only other option was 2 hours for half of that. It is just SICK that we get ripped off at public parking spots in Metro. Everyone wants a piece of covid/supply chain inflation excuse.

I had an appointment for cystoscopy today , main admission person was real fast and kind, lots of happy staff worked on these Hospital so polite and kind people and everywhere looks clean nice and perfect.I cant undrestand what people looking for from a local hospital more than these?i really appriciat that and thanks alot.

Seriously??? Paid parking???? In the hospital??? If you don’t have money you should not come to the hospital??? Anyway, you will never find a spot there. It’s already second time for us when we came here and there was no spot available for parking. Shame.

For now there is free parking here. Also yu can charge our electric car here. The sign say it is free max 3 hr then move your car.

This is Burnaby Hospital, but definitely no garage (s). Parking in covered or street-side parking lots. They charge ridiculously expensive.Alternatively you can use public transport which has a stop across from the emergency entrance.They have a cafeteria as well as a Tim Horton.
