1st time ever fishing with a goat in the boat. Graham was a stellar guide even if the fishing was a little slow, made for an excellent day.

Had an amazing trip down the Columbia River in Graham's drift boat. Fed the boat goat in training Twizzlers some spicy dill pickle chips and a few bunches of chives we found growing on the river bank at a leg stretching stop. Fishing started out slow, but seeing the sturgeon on the Pass Creek flats was super cool! Having different spots pointed out along the way and told about some of the local history was a treat. Once the sun went behind the mountain the river literally came to life! Caddis flies hatching by the millions. Trout making the seams boil with heads, fins and tail as they feasted on the newly emerging flies. Bites on nearly every cast using our supplied Len Thompson spoons. By the end of our 6 hour float we kept 4 beautiful 4-6lb post spawn female Rainbow Trout, a young male Northern Pike and a small Walleye. Hooked into dozens throught the trip. Best fishing trip I've had in years!!

Had an amazing day with Graham on the river! Great atmosphere and amazing scenery! Fish were biting too! Graham is a charismatic person and his attitude is perfectly suited to the tour! Highly recommend for anyone wanting a different way to see the kootenays and catch some fish!
