Watrous Bakery & Coffee Shop

2nd time I've come here in months and both times I got the cream filled with an empty centre. I wanna believe that they're good???

We were told that their breads are the best. We tried long johns and it was indeed the best! We went back to pick up some more but they are gone! Highly recommended!

Super tasty donuts and spinach/feta savory strudels!

When you get fresh donuts this place is 5/5. Unfortunately more than infrequently they’ll have day-olds that they don’t mark as such and you’ll find them in your bag. It’s upsetting to pay full price for these when they aren’t fresh.Also a missed opportunity for them to make sandwiches to offer with the daily soup and coffee but that’s just me.If they start marking down day olds and stop putting them in your box with fresh donuts I’ll change this to a 5/5 otherwise beware.

What a great place! We went in for a coffee and donut and left with 6 other baked goods. Best latte I’ve had in a long time! We will be back!

The fact that we drove 2 hours out of our way (one way!) tells you how much a visit to Watrous Bakery & Coffee Shop is worth. The Boston Creme donuts are worth it alone--but everything we've tried there has also been fabulous. My daughter loves the iced coffee, and the Americano is also great. Other than coffee and donuts there is a good selection of baked goods, even soup for a light lunch (only one type of soup to choose from; we had the delicious green Thai curry chicken). As with any bakery, the earlier in the morning, the better the selection (we cheated this time--we called ahead and asked them to save us some Boston cremes, which they gladly did)!
