Figs Breakfast Lunch
Best value for local brunch downtown. The prices cannot be beat and the portions are very generous. That being said, although the French Toast and California Eggs Benedict dishes were tasty, they didn’t exactly stand out. The sausage is delicious but the potatoes are lacking. I found the hollandaise sauce to be a tad weak in flavour. Quick turnaround and friendly neighbourhood vibe.

A place you want to go to for some honest food.I recommend anything salmon, but honestly, everything was on point.I recommend going early especially on the weekend because of lineups and they’ll only seat you if your whole party is there.

We went for Brunch and it was really busy. I definitely recommend going earlier than 10am if you want to be seated right away. But it is worth the wait! The server is lovely and patient (i take forever making up my mind on what to get). I had the latka and it was perfect! + points for also having great coffee!

Cute little Breakfast Spot outside of Cabbagetown, expect to wait for a bit. The restaurant is first come, first serve, so make sure you put your name down with the staff. I arrived at Figs around 10:30, and managed to get a table within about fifteen minutes - however, everyone in your party needs to be present before you can get your table. Once my friend arrived, we managed to get a table about ten minutes later.The menu mainly focuses on egg dishes, which was pretty much I wanted for Breakfast. I got the Salmon with Soft Poached Eggs, while my friend got the Bacon and Scrambled Eggs. A very homey Breakfast, it just hit the spot before getting our day going.Service was great, the staff are all friendly and attentive towards your requests. A great experience overall.

Benny anyone? Well if you love a great eggs Benny this is the place. Have it with smoked salmon, Avocado, classic peameal, steak and I am sure if you asked for sausage they would do it. This place is a classic and delicious diner. Probably the best fries anywhere. It’s friendly and clean and all things good. Burgers are messy and delicious. It’s simply one of the fun diners that are still around and you won’t break the bank eating here.

Excellent food, good value. Had the Steak Bennedict, amazing fresh squeeze OJ, decent side bacon. Friend got Reuben Benny. However...What kind of Server or Restaurant in 2023 tries to Force the Customers to have to split the bills themselves. Was told they Only do 1 bill per table and that next time they would not split the bill. That we should be prepared to Etransfer Each other when we come into their Restaurant.No warning on the Door. Not even told a good reason. Just that it's Restaurant policy...I'm not sure what kind of lack of organization is behind the scenes that forces a business to fail to provide the most basic decade-long Restaurant services... and then hilariously, without pre-warning. Put that responsibility to the unsuspectinf customer.That, my fellow consumers, is Shifty.I'll be bringing my dozen hungry workers elsewhere for lunches while at Berkely Church around the corner the next week. Some gentleman with glasses attempted to force this unprofessional mentality.Best of luck to management.

Cute little breakfast spot. The food was well priced and came out quickly. Great customer service. The latke’s have a nice garlic flavour. The bacon is a thicker slice that tastes yum.
