Silver Slate Steakhouse
This is my favorite place to go for a decent steak! The prices are far more reasonable than compared to what you would get charged in the city. The staff is fantastic and the atmosphere is great too. I would definitely recommend trying the potato wrap! My only gripe is a small one, it's always a bit disappointing to me when my meal arrives and you see all the condiments for your potato presented in little plastic take away cups, it just sort of takes away from the experience a bit, not to mention the whole single-use plastic thing. Other than that, I love this place and I will no longer be driving to Calgary for steak!

When ordering, remember that before your meal comes you have fresh bread, salad, AND pasta coming! We've never been disappointed. Steak cooked to perfection, ribs fall off the bone. Totally worth the hour + drive for us to get there!!

Pasta is delicious. Ribs were perfectly done. Venue is a bit loud with a crowd when busy, waitress is busy doing her best to serve all.

Very Disappointing!We actually heard only good stuff about this place so we went there with friends on Canada Day. The steak was overcooked, too thin and far from medium rare and that's for a good reason. The taste of two steaks was terrible like rotten meat. Two of us stopped eating after couple of bites. After complaining about we were told it's overaged" - ridiculous. At least they didn't charged us. On the other hand the waitress acted in a very profession way and was very friendly."

Fantastic food and friendly service. A wonderful place to go out for dinner. Great menu and perfectly prepared food. Great as usual. Such a super friendly and professional group of people. Can't beat the food, highly recommended, don't pass this bye.
