An interesting grocery and cafe to visit for the first time. It was nice to purchase pastries that I had enjoyed from my first recent visit to Portugal. Coffee shop was inside with about 4 tables, quiet place for decent discussions to take place at the table. Their Portuguese buns are freshly made. Those craving Piri Piri sauce can get it here. Lots to buy from cod to sardines..

I love this bakery! Their white buns are such a treat and are like clouds. I bought 20 thin cheddar cheese slices from their deli, which were actually cheaper than buying a package at a brand name store. Very good selection in their grocery selection as well. Friendly and professional as well.

This review is ONLY on Pastel de nata, and nothing else, I have NOT tried anything else. I came to this bakery after visiting Portugal. Keep in mind I have travelled extensively in Portugal, major cites as well as costal and small towns. I was pretty excited to pick a few up. upon trying them they tasted absolutely disgusting. it tasted like coloured thick sugary syrup in a pastry shell. I called the store immediately and got a lecture in Portuguese cuisine, and how this bakery only makes authentic" recipes and tasting products

Was in the area and my dad wanted to get some Portuguese tarts and he remembered he used to buy them there, it was my first time there but I liked it, great service, variety of pastries and I didn't check the rest of the store but I will next time I visit. Portuguese tarts are great and we tried some other pastries n were equally tasty.

First time I tried and I will definitely be going back. Staff/owners are friendly. So much selection and incredible prices! There was a line up 11 people deep when I went in, that should speak for itself!

Everyone should know about this bakery. It’s absolutely amazing. From the unique grocery items they keep in stock to the finished product they prepare with care, this bakery is amazing. I go for the pastries. Specifically, the pasteis de nata (egg tart). A seemingly impossible item to prepare at home, these ladies whip them up in batches for all to enjoy. Take a half dozen home with you. They are best first thing in the morning, but they keep well. Grab a loaf of bread while you are there too. It won’t disappoint. A hidden gem for most, I highly recommend this bakery.

Popped in for a quick lunch and it was so cute inside! A cozy, retro feel and a very calm atmosphere with yummy sandwiches. Pictured are the meat sandwich and a cheese sandwich. Both were filled with fresh/delicious fillings on very nice, fresh buns. Definitely recommend checking this spot out if you haven’t before!

Worth a trip as there are excellent baked products here. Pricing is good. The Portuguese egg tarts are exceptional. The tiramisu sponge cake decadent! The sausage rolls among the best in the city. Only down side on this visit was the loaf of bread purchased was not fresh. Probably a day or two old.
