Foxy Box Laser & Wax Bar Courtenay

First time in a few years I've gotten my eyebrows waxed and loved it!!! Also got some super duper cute earrings ❤️Loved my wax lady and the front staff who explained to me about the first visit free stuff for another day lol

When I moved to Courtenay I was looking for a place where I could be doing my Brazilian monthly wax. And then google led me here .. Almost one year later and I religiously go there , they are clean and very professional my vagician Sonya makes me feel very comfortable ..I recommend them to everyone..

I've been going to Foxy Box for years, and have been to several different locations on the island. They are always friendly, body-positive and make you feel so welcome and safe if you're nervous. The staff are always quick, efficient, funny and knowledgeable. I just love this place and so glad to be using the Courtenay location now. I rave to all my friends about Foxy box and highly recommend them, especially if it's your first time because it can be nerve-wracking. They have always treated me, my family and friends amazingly! You rock it Foxy Box!Support local!

I absolutely adore Foxy Box Courtenay! I have been a foxy member for years and I believe it is so worth it! I am always leaving happy after a brazilian, brows, undersarms wax or some laser treatments. The reception staff and technicions are so friendly, accomdating and genuinely care about you and your experience. My favorite techs to see are Mallari and Sonia, but all of them are fabulous! Such a clean establishment! The cleanist I have ever seen! They often have really good deals, sales, super fun events and gifts for members during membership may and other events to show grattitude for their clients. Highly reccomend foxy box.

Love this place. Always good vibes and lots of skilled technicians. I highly recommend seeing Adrea or Mallory! Though they are all great and passionate about their work :)

For a first experience, this was a 10/10. My vagician was so professional, quick and knowledgeable. I was immediately so comfortable and the waxing went so smoothly. The building and rooms were so clean and the atmosphere was excellent. The whole staff was friendly, and overall the whole thing was just amazing. I can’t recommend Foxy Box enough and I will definitely be a return customer!

My mom had an appointment booked for many services prior to going away on vacation. She was running a few minutes late to the appointment and I phoned to inform them she was on her way, to no answer so I left a message. They then phone her as she was on her way and informed her of a “5 minute policy” where if she was more than 5 minutes late they were unable to offer her any of her services booked. At this point it was exactly at the 5 minute point and this phone call was taking up more time than anything as she had to pull over to take the call, she was less than a minute away from the shop. She had two women on the phone repeat this “policy” to her, and she was just asking should I still come in for my appointment today, only to be met with well you’re late. They asked her to reschedule. My poor review reflects not an issue with their “policy” (while I do think this is silly most places give you at least 10 minutes) my issue was them so unwilling to work with her to make anything work today. In a small town like this it is surprising that a business would choose to so righteously stick to policies instead of fostering good customer service and working with long standing members of the community to offer their services no matter what. Very disappointed in how this was handled.

Went in for my first wax ever, and Jackson was absolutely amazing! Very easy to talk to, very knowledgeable and she made the whole experience very comfortable! Cannot reccomend highly enough!! Will definitely be back!

Lovely staff and fast services along with great prices! Always welcoming when you enter the building and always helpful with any questions I may have about their services. I leave feeling refreshed! Also another plus is they are lgbtq+ friendly

Jackson was super friendly and made me feel comfortable during my visit to Foxy Box. She did a great job. All the other staff was friendly and welcoming. It's a clean space that feels amazing to be in. 10/10
