Theres definitely a good sized border between you and other campers, it's all zig-zag so you don't face anyone. Park Operators come by and check if you need Firewood or any questions. Depending where you camp it's a 5-10 minute walk to the beach which also has a dog beach. Best place to see the stars at night.

Most beautiful lake you can drive to within a reasonable time from Vancouver. The finest sand bars you can get. I was stunned by this place. It’s far, but it’s not packed with people, felt like I had the place for myself. The water colour is beautiful, crystal clear.

This is a well maintained park with a big campground. There's lots of room for RV's. Dry camp only for RV's but there is a sanny dump. Drinking water and clean out houses throughout the camp. The lake is medium sized and power boats are ok. There's a nice boat launch with a newer dock. Good sized beach and day picnic area. Canoe rentals were available. Clean glacier fed lake with lots of small rainbow and kokanee fish. There's also a few hiking trails around the campground and Lake. It would be nice if there was a shower and washroom facility since they do have drinking water plumbed through out the campground. Other then that one of the better provincial parks of our beautiful province.

In my opinion, this is one, if not the best campsite near Vancouver. The sites are clean. The outhouses are kept tidy. There is running water (undrinkabke), and plenty of garbage bins. The beach has nice sand. The water is clear and crisp (cold). There is a proper boat launch and dock. I go every year, and will always be my favorite place.

Beautiful wilderness. I was there in late-May and it was an absolute delight. That whole belt is Grizzly territory and I witnessed them on multiple occasions during my stay in that area. Please be respectful of the wildlife, for their safety and your own. People get dangerously close to Grizzly Bears and that’s more dangerous for the animal than you as it might get aggressive and might have to be put down because it. Enjoy Mother Nature & kindly be respectful towards it. :)

An absolutely stunning experience. We stayed for four nights and never got o et the relative solitude for a drive in provincial campground that included such great scenery. The campground is also incredibly managed and maintained by staff that is on top of registration, maintaining the campsites, ensuring everyone puts their bear attractants away, and answering visitor questions. The campsites are large and gravel surfaced with great drainage and the staff rake them out after each guest. The fire pits are cleaned and ready to go and the garbage and put toilets are attended to multiple times a day. Just a note that the campground is 15 km off the highway down a gravel road, so you’ll probably want to drive it during daylight. Lots of hiking trails and a great calm mountain fed lake for boating.

We visit multiple times every year. Beautiful campgrounds and so great to have a designated dog beach. If you're lucky, you can spot some mountain goats. Good lake for fishing, swimming and paddle sports. Decent number of overflow/FCFS spots available as well. No cell service or powered sites fyi.

Excellent destination. Long drive to get there, however, any kind of vehicle can drive on the FSR.Despite the campground being officially closed, effective September 30th, we camped in the still accessible tent area, last weekend.During daytime it was hot in the sun. Water was cool, but not freezing; still good for a quick jump in the lake.We explored the hiking trails around the lake. The nights were freezing cold - our campfire, kept us warm. Less than 20 people stayed over night.
