Very busy place and the owners wife is so sweet. She runs around by herself taking care of everyone. Best food I have had in Alberta and I have tried a lot of places looking for a good one. Gi e it a try and you will love it. Just be a bit patient....they are very busy. Worth it.

This is a strange one. The restaurant opens at 4pm. I arrived at 5:30pm and sat myself down in the completely empty dining room on a Tuesday night. After a couple of minutes, the owner of the restaurant came over to me and gave me the menus to me and explained to me that no staff had shown up so she was working on her own and that anything I ordered would be at least a half an hour. She was very obviously in a grumpy mood so I smiled and told her no worries and waited for the rest of my party.When the other 2 people arrived about 10 minutes later we looked through the menus and waited to be served. One other couple eventually came in to dine and a few people came in for take out orders but the restaurant was obviously not getting overrun by orders.We finally were able to get ice water to start which she brought with an exaggerated frown on her face. I tried to encourage her by stating that she is an ironwoman, to which she said I don't understand English." The owner of 27 years doesn't understand English? Or

Rude, yelled at me on the phone on mothers day because I simply called and asked if I could place an order for delivery please ". I guess the lady on the other line was offended i suggested that because they were busy on mother's day so she yelled and me and hung up the phone! Wow

Delicious. Hot. Fast. Salt and pepper squid was tender and the container was packed full of squid pieces (unlike other places I've recently tried that fill the containers with mostly onions and peppers). Chicken chow mein had lots of nicely seasoned meat, tender noodles and fresh sprouts. First time customer, definitely returning. Thanks, Happy Valley!

So so much better than Big Rock! We love the food. The owner is a little quirky however absolutely polite & wonderful! Absolutely the meaning of small town friendly service & quality!

Fresh foodChicken balls had lots of meat and delicious batter. Almond gai ding was very tasty. Loved the pork fried rice. Great customer service. Very clean

No star. I am new in this town and I visited this location on 27 the June 2021 to order some noodles for a friend of mine who is vegan. I try to order veggie noodles with tofu in it and the lady at the counter was so rude she did not even know what the vegan means. however I explained everything but she failed to understand what I want. Finally she refused to take my my order. No customer service. I Will never go there again. Name of the location should be Sad Valley Restaurant

place was great salt and pepper chicken and chicken balls are great!the staff is very nice especially the lady in the front she's very cute <3you have to go early if u wanna catch the buffet although it might be close the menu portions are huge!also there's is this very cute guy in the back a bit on the short side, very shy but very friendly, w-would you go out with me <333
