Not too impressed with the arena. It serves its purpose but is a bit dated. The food vendors are limited. The surrounding lakefront park is beautiful. The trees are amazing. The ped bridge is kind of cool getting to arena.

Love the Blazers games!!!!! What an awesome atmosphere and crowd. My only complaint is the washroom, i don't like touching shoulders with people at the urinal lol. Other than that..... It's awesome there.

We are from Ontario and here for the Memorial Cup. This venue is perfect for such an event. I don’t think there is a bad seat in the place. Lots of standing room too. Vendors are friendly and do their best to move the lines along. It is a fun and great place to be…both inside and out as there is something going on everywhere.

Beautiful venue, but the parking is terrible. Not enough to accommodate people who are participating in events, especially for those who have traveled from out of the city. Also, they need to have consistency in their security personnel. We came into the venue for the 8:30 am curling draw with our travel mugs with no issue. But later in the day, we came back with coffee cups and could not bring them in. We were not impressed by this.

Sandman centre is a great arena for Kamloops, the Blazers games and concerts are awesome to attend!Facility:They are gearing up for the memorial cup this year and have added a lot of new things including: new tvs around the arena and in the bathroom, a 360 over head camera at centre ice, new lights and speaker systems and overhead net cameras. It shows that they really want to make the arena the best it can be by investing into it.I do wish the seats were a bit wider. I understand they are fairly dated and it wouldn't be possible to change them now. I'm around a size 20 and I find them to hurt my hips a bit, but I shall endure lol.Vibe:The arena atmosphere is amazing, especially during Blazers games. The fans are incredible, usually have a full crowd and a lot of regulars! I think sometimes the drinking can get a little out of hand, but I've never seen anyone get aggressive, usually just silly shenanigans. I would keep that in mind though if you have young children or don't enjoy being around drunk people. They do offer a family friendly section that doesn't allow alcohol which is great.Price:Ticket prices to Blazers games are decent ~$30 for a regular season game, probably wouldn't go if they were any more then that personally. The food and drinks is where they gouge you I think. 2 cans of cider were $18, crazy the mark up. Definitely didn't do that again.... The food is alright, generic vendor stuff. Hot dogs, burgers, fries etc. Senior froggies has a small shop there as well, it's good but not as good as the restaurant I think personally. They have a Lemonade stand as well were you can get different flavours mixed in, they used to offer alcohol as well, but seem to have stopped selling that. All in all I would highly recommend going to a game at least once, it is definitely a great way to spend the night!

Great venue. Workers welcome the athletes and guests. Scotties 2023 kept the Sandman Centre lively for the week. Great job workers, volunteers, visitors, cheerleaders and athletes!

Attended a craft fair with a huge variety of crafters tables displaying many different homemade items for Christmas gift ideas. It was a huge turnout and there was so much displays to see both on main floor & arena. A lot of walking required but you could rest on the bleacher seats.Enjoyed the afternoon....

Loved the atmosphere during the Memorial Cup! Great host city for sure. Thank You to the 100's of volunteers for all the extra activities. The variety of food choices offered in the arena was exceptional.

Lines to get in have been moving quick despite the restricted bag requirements. Clear bags and small dimensions clutch" type bags. Arena staff are great at keeping people from going to or leaving seats during play."

Great show! Guards helped ensure people were keeping aisles clear. Washrooms ran out of TP. Did not see hand sanitizer available. The seating was very close but great for seeing the show.
