Hertz Car Rental - Edmonton - 17610 102 Avenue HLE

I'm a regular rental car customer and I was very disappointed with this location. The customer service was good, no rude employees or anything...but the cleanliness of the vehicle I rented was laughable and the wait times were extremely long. Normally this wouldn't bug me and I'm not one to care about attire, but with the other things like cleanliness and wait times being an issue, it would have been an added touch if the workers had consistent uniforms, but workers showing up in baggy hoodies and gym shorts was a little unprofessional. Overall ,the pricing was decent and the customer interaction was not a problem, it was just everything else as mentioned above.

Unprofessional, made me feel very racially profiled. Came out of the office asking why we were taking pictures of the vehicle that we wanted to rent! Never using this company again

Found the whole experience completely lacking customer focus. The individual handling my exchange was distracted with a number of things resulting in 15 minutes just to complete the transaction. I will avoid this location in the future.

Lack of communication and charging my card without any prior notification for a rental that is already approved by the insurance. These people don’t care about customer service and it’s really evident. No apologies and no action or the slightest effort to somehow make amends. Stay away, take your business somewhere else where the customer is respected and appreciated. Utterly disappointed.Update 2 months later. No even a typical response from the management of this “business”. Just a confirmation of how little they value their customers. Absolutely terrible. Stay away.

Very bad!Chrysler gave me rent a car I took theirs insurance for a day went back next day to tell them my insurance had coverages and I even increased to $75,000 coverages. Muhamed him self took off on 2nd day and told me is canceled and when I returned car $900 charges on my visa just for insuranceI was going back twice they are just ignoring me called Muhamed his ignoring me. It’s a criminal what they did. I’m not done with this

I am deeply disappointed with my experience with Herz Car Rental. Every time I visit their location, they inform me that no cars are available. I am unsure if this issue is specific to me or if other customers face the same situation.As a car rental company, it is their responsibility to ensure an adequate supply of vehicles to meet customer demands. However, every time I inquire about availability, the response remains the same: no cars. This makes me question whether they genuinely have cars for rent.If they are unable to provide service due to a lack of available vehicles or any other reasons, I expect them to be transparent about it instead of repeatedly stating no cars." Such behavior undermines their professionalism and integrity.I also have concerns regarding the cars displayed outside their premises. It raises doubts as to whether those vehicles are merely for show rather than being genuinely available for customers to rent. If they have no intention of offering rental services

I had a very unpleasant and frustrating experience with this location. I would not recommend.I rented a Tesla, I called ahead to clarify the car's distance and the cost per charge. I was told 450 km and it would cost $25/charge. During my trip I could barely go 250 km in distance and it ended up costing close to $40/charge. I had to make many extra stops on my trip and it cost me an additional $270. When I asked for a breakdown of the extra charges, the location insultingly sent me the same invoice with the $270 highlighted, the also charged me $50 for a late return.I attempted to raise my concerns with head office and they also did not assist. I can understand that the costs incurred were from my travel, but I was very frustrated as the gentleman I spoke with for my rental significantly misrepresented the cost and ability of the vehicle I chose to rent. Also disappointed they didn't even attempt to discuss this with me. Overall very poor experience.

Jason was very helpful with an issue I had with a rental car. I spoke with him over the phone and once I arrived to the shop he switched out my defective unit with another unit in better working condition

Excellent service. You tell them what you want for your peace of mind and they worked with us. As a nurse I give them thumbs up.

Rented here for several months. They gave us great customer service regardless of our own shortcomings. At times when we did not communicate with them they made sure to communicate with us from both management and especially front staff. It's not about great smiles, it's about great customer which they delivered.
