This was a great experience for me. I'm from a little further north, and this was the closest drive test center that had a time for my G2 road test which worked for me. I've heard mixed things about people going to other cities for their drive tests, but the instructor who graded me was absolutely amazing. He completely understood that I wasn't 100% familiar with the area, and so he wasn't too harsh if I was unsure of where I was going. He was also incredibly understanding of small mishaps I overlooked just from being nervous (like forgetting to shift gears into drive after doing a roadside stop). He made me feel super comfortable, made sure I understood everything he wanted me to do, and he had no issues repeating anything that I didn't quite understand or hear.Reading some of the reviews, I was certainly a bit nervous to come here for my first road test, but I would 100% come back to do my G test if I was in the area. As long as you're confident, and you understand what you're doing, there is absolutely nothing to be stressed about. The instructor was very understanding about the fact that people are nervous, and the people inside after were very polite and even congratulated me on passing the test!

Moved to Ontario from Alberta. I went to exchange my commercial license and was told I needed to take all the Ontario tests including the driving portion. In reality, I just needed to do the written tests. When I clarified with the man working he was very arrogant and didn't look anything up, instead he went of his own rules. Avoid this place if you can. I went to another centre and they exchanged my license no problem because they actually knew the rules and the process.

Great place to try for your G license. Everyone is professional, friendly and helpful. The team that works at the main desk is wonderful, will help you register for the test and get new test date if you don't pass the first time. I did my first test with Stephan (might be misspelling his name and if I do- my apologies) who was wonderful even though I did not pass. Stephan gave clear instructions, was respectful throughout the test and had very approachable and pleasant demeanour. I failed due to lack of knowledge on navigating a tricky highway entrance without an acceleration lane (i.e. a left turn onto a highway). If you turn into the wrong lane like I did the examiners must fail you even if your driving is fine overall. It is similar violation to running a stop sign or a red light. At the end of the test, Stephan explained why I did not pass in a very respectful manner. He even told me not to take it the hard way as my driving was fine and explained that many drivers unfamiliar with this intersection make the same error. I left the test centre in a great mood despite the fail and was provided with next test date after the mandatory 10 days' waiting period by one of the helpful ladies at the front desk.My second attempt at G test was yesterday with the other examiner Ryan who was great as well. Ryan gave instructions in a calm manner and way in advanced, was respectful throughout the test and had a very pleasant and amicable demeanour. He even told me during the test that it was not a problem if I went slightly over the speed limit (i.e. 1 or 2 km) as I was overly cautious and micromanaging my speed. I passed and Ryan congratulated me.I highly recommend Ryan and Stephan as fair and competent examiners. They will pass you if you show that you are capable to drive at the test level you trying for. If you need to retest, they will explain the reasons why. Most importantly, Ryan and Stephan will treat you respectfully throughout the process which is very important. I had a negative experience in a different test centre a month prior to my test with Ryan where a female examiner was yelling insults throughout the test, making it seem like I was the worst driver ever. My driving skills were not very different a month ago as I have been driving on the highway for a year.Thank you Ryan, Stephan and the entire team of Huntsville driving test centre. I celebrated my pass at one of the local Huntsville pubs before driving back and had a beer as I'm legally allowed one as a G driver. I raised a glass to you guys yesterday! Looking forward to see you for my future tests (M2 and M). Stay safe and keep up the great work!

Omg I can not describe how amazing the people are at this Drive Test Center :-) I did my G test with Ryan he is so nice and does not make your nervous at all !! As long as you follow the rules, speed limit, and focus on your driving this Drive Test Center is amazing!!

I went today for my G1 and it was a great experience. The staff were very friendly and patient with me even when I didn’t have the proper ID at first. I went at 3 and there was little to no line. As long as you keep your mask on and are kind you will receive the same treatment. Good luck to everyone!

I am so impressed by the staff and service at this Drivetest. Everyone is friendly, helpful and efficient. And the driving test examiner (Stacey) is amazing. He immediately put me at ease with his calm and friendly manner. His instructions were clear and precise. This is a great place to give your driving test for G2 or G license.

Terrible!! They only open two days, sometimes three a week. One person behind the counter. Really makes your day drag on forever

Tester was fair and explained everything you'd expect to hear clearly and explicitly with plenty of notice and fair judgement. Every staff member was extremely pofessional throughout the whole procedure.

I came here to get my sons G1. Line moved quickly and everyone was very friendly. I would definitely recommend this location
